Written in 2018, Watching the scenes today , for many their first time tasting success with unbridled joy overflowing, the time is apt to post the poem. God bless The Rangers, Our wait is over! We Are The People!

When The Wait Is Over

You've waited for so long to taste the things we took for granted
The stories that we told you, the songs we sang and chanted
Oh what a joyful day it'll be at your first silver celebration
Rejoicing as your Fathers did in their bygone generation

Through the years of disappointments your loyalty was proved
As we watched you sing defiantly" We shall not be moved"
The essence of those words were manifest as you
From Peterhead to Palmerston cheered the boys in blue

You've watched the videos and you know the history
You've followed our return from the fourth tier of Division three
The injustice of those dark days have made yous all the stronger
And in your hearts you know you won't have to wait much longer

To greet the most historic day of title number Fifty-Five
What a day to be a Ranger, what a day to be alive
As we'll watch you proud young bears react in ecstasy
As our club regain their rightful unique supremacy

Then yous can tell your children in the days and years ahead
That through sanity and tolerance like Mr Struth once said
You prevailed against our enemies as all true Rangers do
Then handed on the baton to those who followed you

Oh sons and daughters hear us the day is drawing nigh
When the Cups of glory will be held aloft unto the sky
Then embraced in one another's arms we proudly will proclaim
"At last the Wait is over, God bless the Rangers name"
