Ticket update for Hampden

I think STH, my gers and buying tickets for previous rounds might be "group 1" (top down) this season. That way there's more of an incentive for folk to buy tickets.

Don't get me wrong I'm on cccs and having to go on on a game by game basis this season to purchase non league games is a bit of pain. Took an hour on Friday for the CL qualifier.

I just don't see it been top down in points ( ST and My Gers) for SF and finals.

As folk have said hopefully there's clarity on it soon. Maybe once the St Johnstone tickets go on sale they will state whether purchasing/attending makes you "group 1" as such.
One of the fundamental issues people have with mygers is the regular changing of rules and lack of transparency

If the club are introducing additional criteria it should ( but it won’t) be made clear up front so people can make informed choices

That said, alienating the core support is where we are the “best in class”

Who says they are introducing additional criteria though? You’re complaining about not getting told about something that isn’t happening?

They’ve already said the CCCS is suspended for matches at Hampden. If you are enrolled in CCCS then you’re still in it regardless. Why would it cause any issue for cup finals?
They said it’s absolute folly to think they’ll be any repercussions if people take a refund the covid year too

What repercussions were there for taking a refund in the Covid year?
Nobody with a normal ticket got offered a refund but I think those with hospitality got threatened with not being able to renew if they claimed it or something like that.

The only refunds were the 5 games missed the season before and that wasn't simple to claim. The ones who did also missed out on the bonus mygers points for not claiming which was fair enough

I could have sworn that Rangers said you could apply for a refund that season.

Yes, they did for the end of the curtailed season. However, they basically asked everyone not to. Secondly, they claimed insurance and got a grant / loan from the Scottish Government that next year. It would have been highly irregular for them not to offer refunds AND take money from elsewhere.

Rangers offer fans struggling financially in Covid-19 crisis refunds for cancelled 2019/20 matches

Rangers have pledged to give season ticket holders who are struggling financially due to the coronavirus outbreak refunds for the matches they missed out on towards the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Ibrox club had offered to give fans a £25 voucher to spend on their new MYGERS membership scheme, match tickets, hospitality packages, soccer school programmes, RangersTV subscriptions, stadium tours and club events.

However, managing director Stewart Robertson has revealed that any season ticket holder who wants to be reimbursed for the home games - which included an Old Firm match against Celtic - which were cancelled when the SPFL curtailed the season last month should contact them.
"It has been well documented how frustrated the club has been at the way the season has ended," he told Rangers TV. "We tried hard to get the games played and to get the season finished. It didn’t happen. We’re not thrilled at that. But ultimately we have to now focus on season 20/21.
"But we appreciate that supporters and hospitality clients didn’t get those final games of the season. The funds from those season tickets and hospitality purchases have all been invested in the club, they have all been invested to strengthen the on-pitch and the off-pitch experience.
"We want to make sure that we come out of this situation on the front foot. We want to be in as strong a position as we possibly can going in to next season.
"But we appreciate that the situation recently won’t have been easy for people, we appreciate that supporters will maybe experience hardships. So if those supporters want refunds that’s there and we will facilitate that for them.
"What we would ask is that to the extent that they can, and I appreciate that’s not always going to be easy, hopefully they can see that that money is going to be reinvested in the playing squad and in the off-field playing structure of the club.
"That has been done to get us in as strong a position as possible going into the new season and seasons beyond that as well. But we do appreciate that it will be difficult for some supporters and in those situations we will obviously seek to provide refunds."

I trust that our Ticket team will be available at the weekend at Hampden to assist those still having trouble getting their ticket?

Mate changed his email address last few weeks but did not update his Rangers profile so tickets will have got sent to his old email address he no lingers has access to.

He is going to try and phone up midweek but not sure how easy it is to get hold of the ticket folks.

Think someone said earlier in this thread that the TO will be resending emails.

Impossible by phone as there's no number. You need to email

Down in London next week so just stuck my Motherwell ticket on subseat. Doubt it'll sell, can't even see any information about mygers / general sale for the match.

Knowing our lot they will probably put them on sale at the same time as the mygers Kyiv sale :))

They had the bright idea to do a fastest finger first psv away ticket sale at the same time as the mygers home Celtic tickets in the past and the site went into meltdown

Two adult seats together in the Club Deck which me and my 11 year old nephew use. I emailed the club twice asking if consideration could be given to making sure we were sitting together as Hampden as he's a bit young to sit himself and guess what they've given us, seats in different sections.
Snap me and my daughter sat Copland rear now I’ve had same books for 10 years she’s recently started using and is 7.

Still pinch myself she even wants to go and now she’s sat nowhere near me. Now I have to disappoint her by saying she isn’t going

Is the ticket office open for business tomorrow. I'm taking a trip over regarding the being separated from my daughter at hampden

Any ideas how they'll do tickets for the group stage for Champions/Europa league since there's no CCCS? Buy the full package in one go? Individual match sales?

Still not had email confirmation of purchase of the Kiev ticket let alone the ticket itself emailed.

It’s showing in order history

Auld codger here, I take it you must print the ticket ?
It won’t just scan off your phone ?
From the email-

“The ticket for your seat is attached and includes full information on how it can be used, either QR code on your mobile phone or print at home.”

Some amount of tickets on sale in ticket Office on here, seems loads going to give Hampden a miss
Don’t understand why, I mean it’s far from ideal but folk taking a huff because they don’t like their seat or Hampden is embarrassing. Totally sympathise with anyone who has been seated away from their child but otherwise surely you can just suck it up for a few games.

Given the number of people who say they're either standing, not going or moving when they get into the stadium I'm now thinking of just going and seeing if we can get spaces for two somewhere in the East Stand. Fine if it works but otherwise he'll just have to miss out till we're back at Ibrox.

Just me that prefers the set up with the European tickets? Sitting next to all my mates and we're in separate stands at Ibrox. Understand the CCCS is less hassle but I prefer it this way.
Said the same earlier in the thread, all my mates are spread across the four stands at Ibrox but for this game have managed to all get next to each other in the West. Good idea doing it this way for cup games imo.
