Ticket update for Hampden

Hands up straight away I've been an idiot. Got message on outlook last night saying storage was full and wouldn't receive emails.

Went on a deleting spree and somehow idiotically have permanently deleted my Kyiv tickets.

If I email Rangers and just say it as it is will they just re-send? Is it too different to losing a physical ticket?
If it`s the same as last season pal; I`m sure you can go to your purchase history, and click resend e-mail next to your Kiev purchase.
You absolutely won`t have been the first person to do this.

It really isn’t difficult but. It’s a case of sticking some paper or a phone into a scanner.

Genuinely can’t believe some of the posts I’ve read on here last few days re entry and how to get in. It’s clearly on the email from the club
I don't find it difficult either but can imagine my Dad trying to do this he struggled when we we went from paper tickets to a smart card. I'm sure loads of older people will find this difficult.

Not as easy as using a smartcard, especially for older fans.

Any delays will see the queues build up. Guy in front of me at Murrayfield appeared to have his phone on eco mode so he had to open it again to scan. Quality of printouts (as some have mentioned) is another potential issue.

I take it you haven't been behind people holding their phones or QR codes against the card reader at Ibrox before. It happens quite often at the CD turnstiles. All the instructions are in the email for that too

Thanks mate, tried that. Gives me the option to forward and recall tickets but when I select them I am basically not able to select on the following page. Seems almost a good idea that just doesn't work.

It will be part of the functionality that's not set up for us. Some of the bigger English clubs do use it.

For the Birmingham game I was half way down on the train when I realised I'd left the paper tickets in a drawer at home. Just phoned the Missus to take separate pics of them and send me the pics on WhatsApp. At the ground just scanned the bar code of the pics on our phones at the turnstiles and entered no probs.
Using bar or QR codes does have their benefits at times.

At last seasons cup final I had a qr code, took a photo on my phone and it scanned ok

However taking a printed ticket just as well

Feel sorry for the ticket office staff on duty tomorrow and hope people remember it’s not there fault

Do you envisage it will hopefully be a matter of time til this is in operation mate?
It's hard to tell, I have seen it for Man Utd and Spurs but they have a bigger demand and they use tickets on the App supposedly tied to one phone even for season tickets from what I can see. We are well behind for that by the looks of it.

Well fairs fair emailed aout 11 and got a reply with tickets attached at half 3.

I'd prob be on complaining if I'd not heard back so fair play :D

Looking for some help, trying to buy x2 tickets for someone for kyiv on the general sale and keeps saying error, tried different cards, laptops etc, doing my nut in if anyone can help

The club have put a video out about acces to Hampden.

Confirms QR codes can be used on phones or on printed tickets.
It's a helpful and worthwhile update.

I do however await the meltdown at the turnstiles trying to use the QR codes. The video shows single QR codes being used at Ibrox, not the 3 QR code version for Hampden tickets...

This is presumably one of, if not THE, main reason for emphasising getting there early.

Have a read through the St Johnstone thread mate. Someone on there had the same issue. Might be able to help.

Edit - talking shite it was this one @TheFamousRFC1

Cheers will have a look, i sorted all our 5 season tickets in a row for all the games no issues, just not letting me purchase extra for a friend for that game.

The SRU app allows this. Very handy when transferring both season tickets and individual match tickets to family.

Aye, the video of the guy putting the paper QR Code into the reader bears no resemblance to the written instructions attached to the email

" ...fold your paper so only the middle section is showing....on arrival insert either end with the QR codes showing into the reader " .

Anyone any idea how I can get a couple of tickets for tomorrow? Considering driving up from Wiltshire but not sure how much of a ball ache tickets (x2) would be!

If you go online and select section B8, there is a seat in row LL and a seat 2 rows behind in NN. It's my daughters seat in NN and I sit beside the seat available on LL, daughters seat is directly 2 seats behind me. If you buy those seats I can move into daughters seat and you two can sit together. Or alternatively go through section by section to see if there are two seats available

Thanks. I'll take a look!
