I am interested in people's opinion when we compare these two players.
Is Tillman an upgrade?
Is Tillman an upgrade?
Just now due to age and experience, Aribo is the better player, but when Tillman is 26, I can see him head and shoulders above Aribo, but it comes down to patience and good coaching.I am interested in people's opinion when we compare these two players.
Is Tillman an upgrade?
Hopefully incoming.Tillman produces a lot more goals and assists but Aribo had better physicality, which helped us keep the ball at important times.
We miss a number 8 to control games.
Agreed, this is accurate in my opinion.I’d rather have Tillman.
Far from an Aribo hater but he used to frustrate the life out me in OF games. Felt like he had the ability to really impose himself on those games. He had his moments but never bossed one.
Could be wrong but I think Tillman will be excellent for us for a few years.
What did you make of his lack of productivity in a team who dominates nearly every game?Aribo considerably the better player in my opinion.
Was Aribo better than Tillman is at 20 years old?

On the bench?Just look where Aribo is now
On the bench?
Poor Joe, would take him back in a heartbeatNot laughing at Joe being on the bench, but how blunt you answered.
It's true though.
When Aribo first arrived he was always letting runners get away from him. One at Aberdeen sticks out for some reason.Aribo was a bit of a shite bag with tackles, but was'nt scared of a shot outside the box he scored a few screamers. Tillman gets dug in and likes to get into the box with the ball to assist or score. Tillman can be lazy Aribo always worked harder off the ball,So quite different Attacking Midfielders. I liked both. But i think Tillman cause of his age he'll come on leaps and bounds and suits our play better.
Well you would say thatAribo considerably the better player in my opinion.
Totally feel for him, I can't help feel he could maybe have chosen a better move, he must have seen something good in it though.Poor Joe, would take him back in a heartbeat
Not in the squad at Southampton?Just look where Aribo is now

Definitely lives in a tenementTillman has a higher ceiling IMO.
