Broadfoot, the journalist, said the following on Radio Scotland on Monday:

"Listen, man or woman, she (Caroline Weir) is up there with the most technically gifted players we've produced"

He didn't add any other caveats. That was it. Caroline Weir is as technically gifted as Souness, Dalglish, Barry Ferguson et al. No one called him on it, wouldn't be worth losing their jobs over I guess.

I guess the Spanish defenders must have been even better.
 
That's why women should get the same, hell even more, than men. They are so much more effective at taking their chances. A woman should have won the Ballon d'Or thingie, not second best Lionel.

I'm just glad there are no leagues where it's men against women, it would be horrifically embarrassing.

From what I’ve seen the goalkeepers in women’s football are hopeless, no wonder there are ridiculous score lines.
