Triple01s (Rangers related) (apparently)

That’s mental but kind of brilliant. As an older bear I’ve no idea what they are saying but I think they are bluenoses by the looks of it and lyrics from the tiny amount I can gather seem positive about the club something like if you’re a Dutchman or from Jamaica all are welcome here? so that will do for me.

I particularly enjoy the lyrics (from their other songs) like:

‘Slice man up with that sabre’

‘We gon' cut you like A Star’

‘Dip my shank in deep when I pivot’

And the classic, poetic delivery of…

‘I like black, white, brown bitches’

Example lyrics:

But I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you're talkin', and where you're walkin'
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
I really hate to trip but I gotta loc
As they croak, I see myself in the pistol smoke, fool
I'm the kinda G the little homies wanna be like
On my knees in the night, sayin' prayers in the streetlight

Do we really want Rangers associated with this?

Log out if you want.
But tell me what makes you think it is a PR success?
If you remember rightly, and I’m a dinosaur so have no idea about this kind of music , the wee guy Tinchy Stridah who is an Arsenal and Rangers fan done a song for us when we won 55.

My kids loved it I’d say that was great PR for us.

Whoever these new kids on the block are they look as if they are promoting the club to the younger generation who are into all this drum and base or whatever. As a Dire straits and Maiden fan, it’s Chinese to me but even I can see it has to be a good thing having multi cultural music popular and filmed at Ibrox.

Wait until the folk raging see the picture of our good friend Mick stone standing next to a lad with a gers top and holding AK’s

Pretending as if the stuff belted from the stands over the years isn’t just as bad or worse

Example lyrics:

Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you're talkin', and where you're walkin'

That's like Shakespeare compared to this shite nowadays is it not?

Googling lyrics so you can be offended you are grim Lol

You either like it, or you don't, not much more to it than that.

Looks like they have just signed a big record deal, so good luck to them.

People hitting out with PR disaster hahahahah

In what way is it a PR disaster? By the media in the country who already hate us? By fans of the diddy clubs who already hate us? Press outside of this country won't batter an eyelid.
Remember the way the press behaved when 2 fans apparently got stabbed at the Osijek game.
So I don’t think we need to give them any more need to slate the club.

I'm in my mid 70's and actually quite like the music but can't make head nor tail of the words. Mind you went on Google to find out what Drill Music is about and not sure if the club want to be associated with it.
