The Tinks are desperate to get fans into that first OF game, I suspect it's to try and shift season tickets as much as it is for a home advantage.

What that Times Past story fails to tell you is that following the 1887 Hibs triumph in the Scottish Cup, with some of the best players in the world, the whole Hibs team was purloined by Brother Walfred to form Glasgow Celtic Football Club in 1888.
The star of The Times story, Willie Groves, was sold for a then world record fee, (to whom, we are not told) with a 99% probability that not one penny of the money was paid in compensation to Hibernian FC. Within a few years the player's health had deteriorated to such an extent that he had to give up football and returned to his previous trade of shoemaker. Within a few years he had to give up work due to further health problems. He was then forced to seek the help of charity; the poor law authorities. These poor law authorities were not part of Brother Walfred's masterplan for Roman Catholic charity. Following this sink into degradation poor Willie killed himself.

it stinks, surely all first round games should be played behind closed doors so there is no team gets supporter advantage over any other. I'm actually hoping its Nov before we get back to full stadiums.
