Woof...you'd think they would vet them firstWas it rohypnol? Wouldn't surprise me after a terrier medical.
The Thumb will be fuming over this.Should get on fine with Griffis then
I agree mate. I'd say he has the same potential as hastie and we've got him for next to nothing if it doesn't work out then it's no big loss to us. But this Turnbull carry on with them has already got added and unwanted pressure on the boy and a big price tag for a boy from motherwell to go with it. He might thrive under the pressure but at the moment it's got disaster written all overbirbI think he’ll still sign but %^*& me he’s starting off on the back foot.
As it stands, the boy is an overpriced potential crock.
What’s this?
Thought it would be something like this.
I know that we’re not flush with cash. And I never rated him that highly. But really. Would it be so crazy to just bid £1.2mill up front with a 10% sell on clause? If the stats guys are right and he turns out brilliant, it’d be hilarious. And he’d really hate Celtic...
Someone with no morals mate .How can any man sign for a club where it has been proven at least 6 paedophiles were at large?
If (and it won't happen, but if....) we were to sign him, it could be MoJo, Novo and John Hartson rolled into one.

The MoJo situation will never be matched, people just don’t get how Earth shattering it was.I don’t think so. No signing could ever trump MoJo in the “get it right up you” stakes. That was a hammer blow to them and massive news in general.
If we signed Turnbull that would just be moderately amusing, no more than that.
we should have signed the undertaker when he was younger, can u imagine him destroying "them"...

Or the boy might do the sensible thing and stay at Motherwell for a season. He will get a bit of grief f8r the first couple of matches but if he cant handle that i doubt he is old enough for the move in the first place.I agree mate. Some of the scum talk pish too!Motherwell fan in your work talks utter nonsense. Some of the posh folk talk about situations like this is shameful.
I think Motherwell have the cash earmarked already. They'll want this deal concluded.Or the boy might do the sensible thing and stay at Motherwell for a season. "He's goat a funny knee. We'll gie youse 100 grand as that's pure his value noo an aw that"Or maybe they're trying to get him on the cheap? The whole £3.5m tag seemed bizarre from the start.
The 'stats guys' who do those radar things are actually predicting the opposite and that its likely his form at the end of last season was a bit of a fluke.

You know, thats a good point. Their stupid chairman had the money spent last week. They are in a spot now alright.I think Motherwell have the cash earmarked already. They'll want this deal concluded.
Seen it a million times with young Scottish footballers. Have a wee purple patch when everything comes off over a short period of time. Suddenly they are the new Messi or something. Fast forward and the purple patch has gone, nothing coming off and it's back to reality - just an average player. The 'stats guys' who do those radar things are actually predicting the opposite and that its likely his form at the end of last season was a bit of a fluke.

He's certainly one example mate. There are loads of them. And this Turnbull is just another.Certain player that moved to Nottingham
Forest? Most disappointing Rangers youth of at least the last 10years. Could have been a player
I hope arsenal do the same with blunderbhoy and offer the chunts
a pittance..
It truly would be simply luvleh.

More so, as there was no such thing as a mobile phone. The MoJo situation will never be matched, people just don’t get how Earth shattering it was.
I still know older dhims who remember where they were when he signed for us, they will never get over it.
What has he "produced" though?? A few goals in a dogshit league against dogshit opposition.I honestly believe the boy will go on to have a good career.
I don't really understand the need on here to knock what the guy has done on the pitch.
I get that as he looks Celtic bound we're hardly going to sing his praises but to basically rubbish what he's produced is bizzare. I mean we,as a support are lauding Ryan Kent who if stats are to be taken at face value, doesn't match up to Turnbull.
Btw I'm no great believer in stats. I prefer to judge with my eyes.
If he'd produced what he has for Motherwell in a Rangers jersey you'd be singing a different tune though. It's very early in his career, far too early in fact to consign him to the rubbish bin. What has he "produced" though?? A few goals in a dogshit league against dogshit opposition.
Christ - David Goodwillie had a purple patch but look how that turned out. And there are countless other examples.
Or maybe they're trying to get him on the cheap? The whole £3.5m tag seemed bizarre from the start.
To be honest I wouldn't mate.If he'd produced what he has for Motherwell in a Rangers jersey you'd be singing a different tune though. It's very early in his career, far too early in fact to consign him to the rubbish bin.
Nothing that shower do should surprise anyone.I think they are trying to backtrack on their bluster at shelling out so much. Blacken the player's name and say the deal is off. Would not surprise me.
It was unbelievable, and the papers that day were mainly made up of the story on the front page and 16+ more pages about it.More so, as there was no such thing as a mobile phone.
Nobody knew about it until they either bought a paper that morning, or when they arrived at work.
There was no work done in the West of Scotland that morning.
As would anyone. To be honest I wouldn't mate.
I always prefer long term consistency over wee purple patches here and there.
Any truth in the rumour that Tierney’s injury was caused by getting whipped on the arse too hard with a wet towel in the changing room?Heard the priest has been called to administer the last rights to him and Tierney.
Fair points mate.As would anyone.
My problem with this "purple patch" viewpont is that it can hardly be descibed as a patch considering he's excelled since breaking into their side. It's been all good thus far.
One of the most important facets of the game is identifying potential before it fully flowers. That ability can save a whole lot of cash while at the same time be an investment for the future.
The great managers all have this ability,Ferguson, Shankly,Paisley,Clough and Wenger to name but a few were all able to see it in a player before most others even gave it a thought.
