UEFA have set tone for Rangers, time for SFA and SPFL to follow suit

We just just get it right up the lot of them and come together as fans and make a song book that doesn't offend anyone. Nobody expects us to do that and they all expect the worst from us. We don't need to offend anyone and we can set the standard here. Then when other Scottish teams sing offensive songs we can highlight how good we are and how bad they are.

We did that for three seasons at least and the mentally challengeds still sang their songs of hate unpunished.

Nothing is surer, the powers that be domestically will be embarrassed into action. If the buckie brigade keep on signing the offending words then points will be docked.

The spotlight is on us, not the scum. It should be on them fully, I totally get it, we just need to focus on getting our house in order then expose them as a separate issue. Stop singing the offending words. It SHOULD be easy.. somehow i fear it won't be. They are intent on punishing us, they will now need to show strength and leadership and we will be on the receiving end of it all.

Stupid lassie

Go nuclear and the games up!!!

If we’re ahead this campaign and docked points for a few drunk defiant idiots singing I’m out....

Hateful counter bigotry selectarianism shite....

If we are docked points for something that others have done without punishment then all hell will break loose.

Fine. No 19th Century Terrorists and no pope, then there should be no huns, no ira and no disparaging of the Queen. Sound about right? It’s not a one sided problem.
I don't believe it's a problem at all. 90 minutes of singing hurts no one. It's either all OK or none of it is OK.
UEFA fined Liverpool for singing "Manchester is full of sh!te" yet ignored the Munich and Hillsborogh songs the same night. We have been fined by one of the most corrupt organizations on Earth.
I am starting to see that the actual agenda here appears to be to upset Gerrard. I am thinking they hope to get to him this way as red carding his players doesn't seem to have had much effect. A slow drip was one reason Souness left Scotland.
I did note, kind of strangely, that Gerrard gave an post match interview lately that seemed to imply "No one likes us, we don't care" and if I remember rightly it sent Kheevins in to a tizzy.

What’s going to happen when they complain about the ‘ racist ‘ Union Jack and the ‘ sectarian ‘ Red Hand Of Ulster ?
That’ll be next on the grievance list.

They already claim that we are the people and no surrender as sectarian lyrics in our songs. They are utter loonys.

What about the head of football at the Republic of Ireland when he was caught singing Offensive Songs nothing said about this by Scottish media.

Lads for god sake who gives a fuc* what they are singing. Let them sign what they want. Get ourselves whiter than white.

I don’t give a rats arse about the UDA/UDF nor the pope. I don’t want to hear that at my football club. We are bringing down the name of our club all across Europe.

I never read or heard her or any of the rest of the media condemning the sectarianism pouring down from the Piggery stands when Stevie G was being called an Orange bassa. She's a bigot, nothing less.

We can keep singing the songs as an act of defiance, but when rangers are kicked out of Europe, don't start complaining about it all as the club and fans have been well warned
There will be no 55,Gerrard will be gone by the end of the season and that would be a hell of a price to pay for the sake of a couple of songs.

Its not only about songs, mate. They'll just move onto something else, as they always do. They see the Union flag as sectarian, as is the RHOU, orange strips, red and black socks, the Bouncy. Take your pick.

I wish people like you would stop coming on here and demeaning our support.

I've been singing these songs since I was 5, I'm now 40 and up until yesterday I would've sung them so stop stereotyping the people who sing these songs, we have ALL been guilty of it at some time or another!
It stops now though.

Alison McConnell will be looking in, no doubt about that.

Here's a few for you, you horrible little boot.

Where were the articles on the effigies, go home you huns, Steven Gerrard orange bastard, the sectarian bile directed at Jimmy Bell, the banner on the 9/8/2019 RE; 19th Century Terrorist army... all at the piggery.

The article on the Celtic supporters choice of song book at Fir Park a few weeks ago?

What will the protestant Celtic players think if their supporters and sectarian singing towards protestants?

Did you miss the Aberdeen supporters last season; Ian Durrant, Ibrox Disaster (not sectarian before you piss yourself), huns, sad orange bastards...

Hibs came to Ibrox a few weeks back. If you never heard cheer up Steven Gerrard, then you are at it.

What about the songs at the piggery on the night Cluj humped your beloved Celtic. The scenes of objects being thrown as Cluj celebrated a 4th?

Do you care to write any articles on the shameful goings on at the piggery - a history of child/sexual abuse.

No I didn't think so you bigoted trout.

We are such an easy target with no one to defend us. Thanks for the dignified silence over the year Rangers.

I agree with that but right now we are up against UEFA,so let's not give them the chance to eventually kick us out.
As proved in other threads on here,we can fight back about the things you mention against our community, but for now we have to keep the football out of it

We did get our house in order and we'll do it again. This time there should be zero tolerance towards any other team which steps out of line. It won't take long, we've got the scum a week tomorrow.

Probably best to evade the scum media and their rants on big bad rangers. Get our house in order and leave them nothing to slever about.

The worst part of that attack on our club and support by the bigot O’Connell is the deliberate omission that it was Celtic fans who threw bananas at mark Walters .

The way it’s written she is clearly insinuating it was our fans . Unbelievable that she can get away with that in a mainstream newspaper . “When mark Walters had bananas thrown at him on his old firm debut” in the middle of an attack on Rangers and our fans .

To be honest I now won’t read or listen to any more bile from these haters for at least a fortnight or until we beat them next Sunday , just to feel their pain .

Someone should ask her if she would welcome the SFA - SPFL follow suit in regards of the child abuse at Penn State
(NCAA) imposed sanctions on the Penn State football program: a $60 million fine, a four-year postseason ban, scholarship reductions, and a vacation of all victories from 1998 to 2011. NCAA stated that the sanctions were levied "not to be just punitive, but to make sure the university establishes an athletic culture and daily mindset in which football will never again be placed ahead of educating, nurturing and protecting young people." or does she place more importance in stopping people being offended by songs.

It is just more of the push for strict liability to ensure Rangers can never be successful again. Scottish football is truly disgusting, that this is their top story right now, when hundreds of young lives were destroyed by a club which they are actively protecting and helping cover up through their silence.

Also no mention of the same club actively supporting their fans to display banners relating to the most destructive terrorist organisation to hit Europe.

The songs and threats against Nacho Novo

Physical and sectarian abuse of Kris Boyd

The behavior of celtc employees like Griffiths and Stokes

Bigots like Alison don't care. They socialise and work with like minded bigots, and convince themselves their mentality is the norm
