Or spitting???How do you keep the players from touching.?

If football is re started behind closed doors the government will have a very hard time justifying why others can’t go and play football at a park or on an Astro whilst allowing professionals to do so. Allowing this would probably result in many starting to ignore lockdown rules
Spot on. Without TV and sponsor money they are all phucked. I posted yesterday that it was a 2 hour wait to cancell Sky Sports people are chucking it in tens of thousands all over the world.
you can pause your subscription online.
Think you’ll be pleasantly surprised / pissed off then when it does. There’s not a hope in hell that this season is getting finished.
wtf are you living in a cave ffsThink you’ll be pleasantly surprised / pissed off then when it does.
Nope, just realistic about the situation and the power of money as well as keeping an economically inactive and irate population occupied.wtf are you living in a cave ffs
NO sport will be played untill August at the earliest imo
IF a football is started back and People cant visit their old man etc then I would expect extreme civil unrest in all honestyIf football is re started behind closed doors the government will have a very hard time justifying why others can’t go and play football at a park or on an Astro whilst allowing professionals to do so. I'd say opening the door for closed doorIn England and Scotland.
Genuine attempt to prepare for finishing the season behind closed door or just a token gesture?
Edit: link to story now added
Uefa lifts football TV blackout
Uefa lifts the ban on showing games starting at 15:00 on a Saturday live on TV in England and Scotland.www.bbc.co.uk

Whilst it will likely be behind closed doors there will be a push to get these leagues completed. Life goes on - football will as well. The worst of the (first wave) virus will have passed by the end of April in the UK, people will have to start becoming economically active again. Closed doors football between May - August is a definite possibility
Imagine we play the beasts on July 12thThere will be no games played until, July 11,at the earliest. In all likelyhood it'll be Sep/Oct before a ball is kicked in earnest.
Definitely a hint to games behind closed doors. No coincidence this pops up all of a sudden.A hint towards or leaving open the option to play behind closed doors.

Like watching Russell Martin playing for us then. They seem to be ignoring the players safety. Be some game if They can’t get within 2m to tackle.
All the news reports, expert predictions and so on are pretty clear and unanimous on the peak happening this week sometime bud, it will still hardly be ‘normal’ and all positivity and laughter for the rest of the month - there will be many more deaths sadly but we will be on the downward slope at least.Who was it that told you the worst of this (first wave) virus will have passed by the end of April in the UK ?
Or is that just your own opinion ?
Even if the worst of the virus has passed by the end of April, there is no way this lockdown is being lifted by then.
Social distancing will still be going on, so how would football get played?
If you go within 2m of another player, it’s a free kick?
Footballers are still employees and the employers have a duty of care which would be to follow government advice.
At this point, I couldn’t really give a shit whether this season is completed, there are far more important things to worry about.
And as for your comment that life goes on? Unfortunately for many people just now it really doesn’t.
Stay safe mate!
