First Bundesliga game ever, and fans were encouraged to bring pictures of fans who died before they saw the team play in top flight. The # is endlich dabei - did it eventually.

I read about Union and their fans recently when visiting Berlin. They have a great story - the fans even helped build their stadium.
It's clear that a lot of the German fans really dislike commercialism in football. I went to a Hertha game and there were lot of scarves etc suggesting they hate RB Leipzig.

That was beautiful. A podcast I listened to the other day said that they saved their club by donating blood and the money the fans got paid they donated.
