Uptake on Europa League Tickets?

not massive demand for the 3 match package at general sale, pretty much no queue

There's only a couple of thousand seats left and the vast majority of them are either single seats, or restricted view.

I'd expect it to sell out, once they sell this game on an individual basis, which will likely be tomorrow or Wednesday.

Around 46k seats already sold for all 3 matches is more than decent imo.

I can’t see any of the European games being a sell out. I’d say the single match tickets will be coming soon.

Think a lot of people are just pissed off with the product on the pitch, adding into the fact how bloody expensive football is getting now.

The demand for tickets for our games now is far greater than at any time under Souness, Walter, Advocaat, McLeish or Le Guen.

Tickets have been fairly priced for these games too imo.

We will have some of highest prices in Europe for these games so its not surprising. After the Betis game I don't think many will be looking to pay £40 a ticket for games against Prague and Limassol when they go on general sale.

I genuinely don't know how anyone expects this years Europa League to sell out as a 3 match package. Most games will get close to a sell out individually probably.

There isn't a true glamour tie in there, the economy is in a different place again to last year and thus peoples disposable income just isn't as it might have been previously.

Tickets will have sold really well I'm sure and within expectations.

People say millions should be spent expanding the capacity of Ibrox. There's only capacity issues against certain teams or in certain competitions.

You do know that Aberdeen and Motherwell sold out in hours and that is just seat sub resells that are available?

Fact is Rangers know that people will have to buy if they want to get semi final or cup final tickets so they sign up to the priority scheme. But I do think there is definitely a drop in numbers this year for the CCS scheme. If I wasn't bothered about Hampden tickets I'd probably buy on a match by match basis.

Same here mate as i work away.

I do feel it's over priced, but I guess that's what a game of football costs these days. Over £30 for a run of the mill spfl game.

I'll be disappointed if the crowd is less than 49,000, seen it loads of times that there looks to be plenty left then they start disappearing once it becomes a single ticket price instead of the package.

I do have to say, though, that the enthusiasm for the game is as low for a big European game as I can remember for a long time. Most folks I know are all going, but more out of duty than out of excitement.

The idea that tickets are now more in demand than they were in 1991 and it somehow validates much is f*cking wild by the way

Most people on my bus are more fussed about an away trip than ever actually being at the games at Ibrox.

Old firms and europe aside going to Ibrox is a chore atm

Bizarre that some people seem the be revelling in the fact that ticket sales are perhaps sluggish.

Every thread full of folk who can't wait to get their wee dig in. The thread about how many EL points we will get is a 'fine' example of the bampottery.

If we beat Betis, then I fully expect the other home games to sell-out quite comfortably. These are the times when the fans need to get behind the club.

Any ST holder not on the CCCS paid £120 upfront. The staggered payment was not an option for us for some reason.
I'm pretty sure I've only been charged £40 so far.

Just looked back on the email and it says this:

As a subscriber to our Continuous Credit Card Scheme for All Non-Season Ticket Home Games, and in response to supporter feedback, we are pleased to inform you that your payment will be taken in three instalments of £40, as opposed to one lump sum. Payment will be collected from the dates outlined below:

We thank you for your phenomenal backing and look forward to hearing Ibrox roar for the visits of Real Betis, Sparta Prague and Aris Limassol in the coming weeks.

If a regular poster talked about the club and the team the way some admin do it would be ban central.

The ground was dead for Champions League games when our team had a legendary manager and squad.

The year we had Valencia, Unirea and Bursaspor (I think) the attendances were piss poor.

Not sure but I also have had a few emails this week punting hospitality and offering a 10% discount. Not really surprised if uptake is lower than expected.
Signed up for them through gritted teeth following

- last seasons overpricing & shambolic display (through lack of investment)
- poor start to the season
- Post OF email
- No cup final tickets last year despite mygers, ST, CL tickets, etc

Rangers only understand cash so fair enough to those who didn’t front up.

Thanks for listening to your customers

It’s a mixture of lack of enthusiasm for the Europa league and less disposable income. People are financially stretched at the moment and asking them to part with £120 plus all the additional cost of going to the football is a big ask.
Really?
If that’s true, is it because of the poor form or that we’re scared of a hiding?

I've got tickets for all 3 but looking like I won't be able to use any of them

£120 donation I suppose.

Yeah so you're on the CCCS. Those not on the CCCS have had to pay the full package up front.
