Valencia for a city break?

We were there for the day when we played Villarreal and stayed a couple of nights when we played Valencia and it was fine. Found plenty of bars up near some bell tower in the centre

Was there when we played them in champs league and swore i'd go back with er indoors, but, haven't yet...

Great city, we went for New Year a couple of years ago- things off the top of my head worth doing:

• Get Paella at La Pepica it was fantastic- and also was Ernest Hemingway's favourite!
• Drink some Agua de Valencia- watch out though its lethal!
• Walk the river bed park
• City of Arts and Sciences
• Fallas Museum
• Ceramics museum

I'd should ahve added the beach, El Cabanyal (the old Fisherman's quarter - reminiscent of Cuba. Look out Casa Montana there) and for food I loved the area around the and La Lonja and the Mercado Central.
