I doubt they will see all the perps jailed as some will now be dead.Scum. Hope the victims get everything they’re entitled to.

That's exactly what I think,The Scottish government started an inquiry into historic child abuse in Scotland and they are not including religion or sporting organisations that must set alarm bells ringing about curruption and cover ups.Would anyone really be surprised if they never paid a penny? I know I wouldn't. They have way too much protection in politics and the media.
Its common practise in most bheast household I'd imagine so no harm done in there eyes. One of the things I dont understand is why the general celtic supporters arent up in arms about this. If similar happened at Ibrox, I'd expect us to be putting serious pressure on the board to do the morally right thing. Take responsibility for past failings and puts steps in place to make it right.
What have the fans of city being saying about it? Do they recognise its the right thing to do?
One of the players in that photo was a suicide after admitting to child abuse. And almost five months have passed since McCafferty appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court.
One could be forgiven for thinking that Celtic and their placemen are behind this in the hope that the old bastard kicks the bucket before he brings them to their knees.
Next up: " Jim McCafferty unable to appear in court due to ill health "
We can all see it coming.
Celtic playing the long-game here.
A bit like calling the SS a separate entity to the Nazi party, everyone knows they are extrinsically linked."Although Celtic Football Club is an entirely separate organisation, we have always taken these allegations extremely seriously because of our historic contacts with Celtic Boys Club.”
They really are despicable
I know this is a lengthy process and it's about building evidence and biding time, but I really hope something comes from all this. The idea that it's somehow ignored again is sickening.
When eavesdropping on reasoned discussion about this horrific topic, their 'fans' immediately switch to scornful reproach that we're 'still talking about it'. Shockng in itself & a condemnation of their brain-washed cult psychie.100% correct mate.
I have yet to see one of their fans talk about it. It's as though it just didn't happen and the behaviour of their club is as you say, shameful. What kind of world are we living in now?
I can't go into a lot of details, but I once worked with a woman whose son played with CBC, I'm not sure if he went on to playfor Celtic youths but he tried to commit suicide when Tommy Burns died, the boy would have been about late teens when he attempted this. He was luckily found by his dad but he went into total shutdown and became a recluse. I've not seen this woman in years now but a terrible story and now it makes me wonder why he did it, was there another reason
Why does this McGuire guy keep going public. He appears to be constantly on Radio Scotland and the Sunday Mail. On each occasion he tends to threaten the filth that he will take cases to court and practicaly begs them to settle out of court. I just wish he would get the cases to court. I have real concern that he is not confident of winning in court and is hoping for an out of court settlement. These cases can be very expensive (particularly as the scum will use the best legal minds available) and it could be that his bosses at Thompson's are not willing to take the risk. No win no fee companies are notorious for this. Hope I am wrong but looks like this may be the situation.
Won't be covered by insurance as its not accidental. It was a deliberate act and they knew about it, didn't disclose it, and therefore it was no longer accidental. They have no insurance cover for this. They will be taking legal advice but not from insurers. They can say what they like but the club will say nothing the insurance people won’t allow.
Leading to an unfair advantage plus they wanted to destroy us so let them suffer the consequences and I hope they get destroyed , what went on at that club is far far worse than anything Rangers were guilty of , in fact it was so bad there cannot even be the slightest comparison yet the SFA could not wait to punish us so it will be interesting what happens to that den of paedophilia .They’ve had decades worth of income that they shouldn’t have had.
They threw him(Torbett) out without notifying the police then brought him back knowing full well he was a child abuser.
They attemped another cover up in 1991 for crimes committed by Frank Cairney insisting Cairney would be removed for their silence on the matter
Astonishingly history then repeats itself when a few years later when Tommy Burns tried to bring his "pal" Cairney back to sellikfitbawklub.
This move was vetoed by then owner Fergus McCann due to Cairneys unsavoury past.....a queer eye for a weird guy you might say
You read that and just know the Dhims will be watching this closely and preparing their own defence along the same lines.
That was exactly what I was thinking too VB.
The "no affiliated" pish was blown out the water when Cairney admitted in court that sellikfitbawklub paid his wages
Why are they are continuing to trot out this obvious and blatant lie
I know mate. Don’t think they’ve got much chance on that, with all the hard evidence about.
And the worst thing of all, where I don’t think any other club is guilty, is actually RE-EMPLOYING known paedos. That really is a SCANDAL.
They brought one back and Burns attempted to bring back Cairney....Burns was Cairneys pal and he surely knew exactly why sellik fitbawklub got rid of him the first time
The crux that tells what a sordid affair the whole thing was. They brought one back and Burns attempted to bring back Cairney....Burns was Cairneys pal and he surely knew exactly why sellik fitbawklub got rid of him the first time
Tommy Burns.
Just how far does it go with him?
He knew , no doubt, he wanted to put the full weight of Celtic behind Cairney instead of Victims, Why?
How involved was Burns?
Was Burns abused or was he a Paedophile or was he simply someone who wanted it all covered up?
Questions that should be asked.
Yes but we are trying them and finding them guilty, AKA. Geroge Pell, so they need to send them to some country that has no moral compass or protection for young kids with a corrupt government that's in bed with the Catholics who are in control of every fabric of the nation and are protected, Scotland springs to mind.Shouldn't St Patricks just be sent to Australia like what usually happens?
I can't get my head around the fact that Celtic fans are not up in arms about their club, and what went on. Surely it's time these victims had the full backing of all fair minded people, and were at the very least given some financial compensation and a full public apology.
These crimes go a lot further than football rivalry, and watching Celtic trying to squirm out of their responsibility to the victims is disgraceful.
My fear is that this scandal goes a lot further than any of us can imagine.
And do these apparent clauses extend to the cover up of any such seemingly organised behaviour? This is the real issue here. They have additional clauses to cover this, at least in sporting insurance contracts in the US.
when Cairnney was under suspicion it was Burns who stated that everyone at sellikfitbawklub backed him "to a man" .... this was later withdrawn by CFCTommy Burns.
Just how far does it go with him?

I still have reservations about this lawyer, hope I’m wrong though and he sees this through.I also find this strange.
He continues to play to the public gallery but so far Celtic haven't blinked.
They're almost staring him down as if, " Do your worst - you can't beat us. "
Paddy seems to bark a lot, I wish he'd start biting.

If this is settled out of court does that mean beast fc are left alone or would they still have questions to answer?.as do I, he showing his cards in public I think he wants this settled out of court.

The company Mr McGuire works for are a compensation outfit....ambulance chasers if you will
I don't think he is interested in achieving any justice.... only in for the money which probably explains why he is so eager for those rancid cunts to settle out of court.... but.......
That would be an admission of guilt and they don't seem to keen to go down that road
Left alone I'm sure?If this is settled out of court does that mean beast fc are left alone or would they still have questions to answer?.

I’ve posted before, I’m not sure they’ll get done for the abuse, that wee letter saying they’re a separate entity, might just be legal enough to save them. You read that and just know the Dhims will be watching this closely and preparing their own defence along the same lines.

However, their covering up of the matter cannot be justified in any separate entity or contract defence.
This can only be a guilty verdict and a Perverting the Course of Justice offence, and maybe more.
