We are being refereed differently.

Since the start of this season we seen a rise of
very poor refereeing. Normally the Rangers support see this as ‘don’t act like the bheasts ‘ who have used this weapon since 1888.
Since 2012 the absolute hatred that has came our way is mind blowing . From media outlets such as BBC to the referees it’s now came to a point of no return . In another league or country players would not be able to run around a commit that amount of fouls without being dealt with. Why is it that’s the last 2 games we have witnessed players committing up to 6 fouls before being cautioned ! Could morellos comit 6 fouls before being booked no is the answer. We are being refereed differently ! We are getting thumped all over pitch every game yet when a Rangers player throws his weight it’s a yellow or red ! We are being bullied out of playing football as we are an easy target on and offf the pitch .

If the club don’t start to kick up fuck about how we are being officiated differently to other clubs, then it will only continue and we will lose points, and lose players to cheap suspensions and injuries.

Gerrard was quick to point out how poor the match officials were on day 1 of the season, since then he seems to have reined it in (I don’t know if that was his decision given the media backlash after it, or he was advised to).

It happened on the drudge through the divisions too.

It took the manager one league match to realise it was the case. Yet we drop it.

We should be highlighting it every day until it changes. We don't want preference, just parity

Don't forget the old tactic of trying to break any momentum Rangers get, by allowing treatment to fake injuries, or giving fouls that are truly not!. Etc.

That ref yesterday waiting on the kilmarnock sub when he wasent even stripped at the start of the game was unbelievable

The challenge on Grezda by the corner flag towards the end yesterday was a disgrace. Player wasn't booked. Routinely those kind of challenges on our players go unpunished. We're where we are because we aren't good enough but the refereeing this season has been the worst I've ever seen.

I thought it could have been a red!!!!

Terrible challenge was suprised Gredza wasn't injured..

The referee stopped the game yesterday when their left back was down - not a head injury - the next time you see him he is galloping down the wing (less than a minute later) having received no treatment.

He got right back on his feet when the ref seemed to be playing on then and fell on his arse again when the ref blew.
The time wasting yesterday was a farce, the ref continually turned his back on it and didn't even warn any of the Kilmarnock players to hurry up. Our players should've been right in his ear for it.
The Brophy injury alone wasted 3 minutes in the first half yet the ref blew bang on 45.

He wasn’t even spoken to,it was like Australian rules / MMA hybrid yesterday,no wonder Scottish football is in the gutter.

He never once chased them up for timewasting. He looked to me like a lazy bastard who couldnt be bothered.

Two additional minutes were played at HT, five at FT.

Seriously??? A 4th game without a win and it's the refs fault everytime??? Perhaps we should look closer to home ffs.

Sadly I think we are now bringing this on ourselves. The club’s refusal to speak out against this is allowing refs to carry on with impunity. The refereeing performance against Hibs at Easter Road should have been the straw that broke the camel’s back and compelled the club to complain. But no. We sit in ignorant silence.

We're being cheated and we're too cowardly to do anything about it.

That's a clear penalty in each of our last 3 games we should have had but didn't.

To be honest, and I do wholeheartedly agree that the ref allowed Kilmarnock off with too much, he did blow for McGregor to restart the game.

Mulumbu should have been booked for a challenge in the middle of the park as well.

It really is outrageous that more is not being made of this when these decisions are changing games. Play is broken up, the players get frustrated and then the fans get on their backs. Next thing you know, there are calls for the manager to go.

That was a fuckin horrible body slam, completely deliberate, and fully intent with everything behind it that the hammer thrower could muster.
No one can say Grezda “shat oot it” cause his wee shimmied was absolutely sublime.

Embarrassing deflections tactics after a shite performance by us. Happens every time. This place is essentially just an echo chamber after a bad result.

Totally agree with the OP but my problem is surely they can not all hate us or be acting on instruction but there is no doub its the same game after game,Morleos is worth a lot of money to us and is keen to play in the Premier league just as well or he would just up sticks.he has been treated disgracefully

So we shouldn't have had a penalty in the first half yesterday after a Kilmarnock player made a diving save in the box McGregor would have been proud of?

You have to start somewhere.

And while saddos like me could ping on any number of instances in days gone by, a dossier kept and updated from a cut off point of 2012 would blow this backwater off the map.

I'll start with the assault on a Rangers player at Stirling.

Has anyone said it was a good performance, we’re talking about another referee who allowed the opposition countless free hits at our players and did everything to disrupt what little flow there was.
Maybe there’s an echo chamber between your ears if you can’t grasp the obvious point of the thread.

Another paranoid thread about referees. Embarrassing.
The only red card should have been Goldson, our best defender, if the refs against us why wasn't he red carded?

Refereed to a different standard has been happening for a few years now . If you remember the Hibs game we lost at Ibrox a couple of years ago and how those Hibs players never received red cards was quite unbelievable. In a different league these players would be cautioned early on and dealt with accordingly . It’s free hit time up here so you are allowed 5 bad tackles before a yellow is produced .

He had a discussion with his colleagues about that on his mic and ear piece. They obviously thought Katic was close enough.

Everything you have said is true, although the team need to take some responsibility as the ref doesent play poor passes, miss chances or determine our team formation. However there is no doubt we have a problem with Referees.I think they are shit scared of us getting any favourable decisions because they know that they will come under severe scrutiny and their personal welfare would be endangered.Look at the fallout from the doing we gave the scum last time out.Their board encourage their scum fans by "only seeking clarity".Next thing is the refs getting on line threats and needs a police escort to take his kids to school or go to his next match, that's where the problem lies.

We want this to be different then we have to go in the front foot. I assume the club are doing this behind the scenes. However we have no conduit to the bbc, no influence and they are setting the media agenda.

We need a way of stopping trial by sportscene.

He kept turning his back on their timewasting as a means of ignoring it.

I genuinely think if we’d have got a second goal he would suddenly have started demanding we get on with it after allowing them to kill the game dead from the first whistle.

The whole going to ground knowing the ref will give them a free kick and allow them to waste time is a disgrace.

I'm actually surprised they never bent the rules and sent him off, although they seemed to be trying to find a way via the ear piece.

To answer your question, it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity that you wanted our player sent off for.

Nope, not this one.
Plenty of other dodgy decisions, but that one hit broadfoots back.

McGregor booking a joke..rough them up policy with a ref who was prepared to let them do it ....and how many times was he in the way of passes when we went forward he was either in the line of the play orcutti g of routes for passes ?

It is not just the refereeing. Look at the media and politics.
Some people can argue that the refereeing is still a case of balancing itself out. But look outside of the actual game for more proof something else is going on.
The refs are criticized on every level by most fans and clubs but it is only when one team gets the perceived benefit that we get analysis that goes in to weeks. Cases being Beaton's OF game and the 4 penalties in one game. The penalties went on for a few weeks and the critique of Beaton almost a month.
For over a year we've been treated to weekly rendition of IRA Sunday, usually a mass singing by the majority attending Neverland. Then we have Kris Boyd called a fat Orange bastard AND Laughed off by SKY TV commentators. No more than a few days later, Pee Wee Clarke is called a sad 19th Century Terrorist bastard and all hell breaks loose.
And let's not get started on the sex dolls craic

Sinclair barely touched in the box just now , down he goes like a sack of spuds. Walker on SKY says he’s more than entitled to go down and look for the penalty. Background singing SG orange bastard. Yes Scottish football 2019. Pathetic , biased and cheeting.

He was touched round the neck, but your correct if that was Morelos he would have been booked for simulation.

Watched the rugby last night, something I rarely do, the refs were miked up, explained every decision, which everyone could here and also had VAR. The game flowed more smoothly than any of our matches, breath of fresh air alas no hope of our backwater shitehole country implementing any of this as we might get a fair crack of the whip.

It is very obvious we are being treated differently. The refs are absolutely 100% at it with us and I have no doubt they've been given permission from the SFA to treat us differently.

However, the only reason this is happening is down to the club allowing it. Yes, these refs hate us. They're being guided by clubs that hate us but again, that's all down to the club no speaking out.

It's about time we found out why the other clubs feel they need to hate Rangers so much. A lot of it is Celtic's guidance but that needs to be stopped. No one club can have so much influence - it's getting very close to league fixing the level of support Celtic are given by the other member clubs and the SFA and SPFL. The funny thing is - if there is a club in the UK that should be despised beyond all belief it's Celtic. Covering up child abuse, supporting the IRA and other terrorist groups, mocking murdered people and people killed in disasters. Getting other clubs that cannot beat in Europe knocked out by digging through paperwork. They should be so despised they actually can't function as a professional club. However, it's Rangers, a club that hasn't actually done anything wrong that gets all the hate.

That all added up allows everyone to treat us differently and unfairly. If the board actually stood up and started to threaten action unless this is hammered out it would stop. We could get back to focusing on football in Scotland.

There is a way to stop it but it will not happen,we need all supporters clubs groups to meet and have a boycott on visiting away grounds until we see our club being treated like every other club, anyone denying that this is going on is deluded,we beat Celtic once this season and look what happened ref was death threatened because a media aka Sutton and co went after him,now look what's happened since then no outrage from any media about refs unless it involves us,waken up guys we are not being allowed to win games it's that obvious.

This is something I've wondered about. There's a lot more to dislike about Timothy than there is about us. You listed mostly everything. I think it has something to do with kicking us while we're in a weakened state. The fans and players of these clubs are unable to beat Timothy so vent on us. They can ridicule one of the big two.
In decades gone by I've cheered on every Scottish team in Europe with the obvious exception. Now I'm actually quite happy to see the whole lot them horsed in the qualifiers.
Back in the 70s I love watching Willie Pettigrew and remembered the Motherwell games being raucous affairs. These days I've developed an unexpected hatred for those pricks.
I'd be happy if every one of the other 11 teams could lose each week to each other. Then all of them go in to admin. Then every fan homeless...with VD.
