We are subjected to sectarian abuse

Every time we play any team at Ibrox, we are always subjected to sectarian abuse from opposing fans be it ,us being called Orange Ba*tards or huns and nothing is ever said about. There is never any mention by any newspaper about it but today we are being vilified for the term 19th Century Terrorist ( political term) being used towards Clarke.

Nobody in the media cares about sectarianism when it aimed at us but, if they cared about sectarianism in this country they would surely call it out every time it happens within a football arena., wouldn't they?

We this week have had a video of a small child being encouraged to sing a sick sectarian song about Jimmy Bell saying they hope he dies & of course the abuse of Boyd which was a one day wonder and somehow what was sung to Clarke is worse than all that!

The very fact the Scottish media don't care about us being subjected to sectarian abuse shows them up for the double standard hypocrites they are.

We won last night mate.

That means they either need to talk about the ref or talk about sectarianism.

Had we lost 3-0 and called Steve Clarke a greenyin bastard no one would give a shit because they would be too busy gloating about us getting pumped and printing articles saying Gerrard's job is now on the line.

Ignore them. Feck them. Pity them.

The hypocrisy and double standards is rife. Yet whenever we point out the abuse that we are subjected to, we just get hit with the whatabouttery card.

This is what we are up against.

It's a one way street in Scotland and has gotten worse over the piece.

The double standards are there for all to see but the fact is ,we need to box a bit more clever at times.

Here is the thing. If you call someone a dirty or sad 19th Century Terrorist bastard it is sectarian. If the club catch you doing it or the police you will get into trouble.
If a large group of fans do it then it will be highlighted by the media and the club might get into trouble.

You can’t complain about it as it is deserved, it is unacceptable behaviour.

However if you turn a deaf ear to the Rangers support getting called huns, orange bastards and never bring it up or criticise this sectarian behaviour you are a hypocrite and employing double standards.
If you try and play it down and call it banter and then go for the Rangers support and call them out for sectarian or anti catholic racial abuse then you are part of the problem.
You aren’t highlighting sectarianism you are selectively highlighting one side and ignoring another.
To me that makes you biased and probably shows your own bigotry and prejudice as well as your hypocrisy.
That means Spiers, English and Kilmarnock manager Clarke. You have nothing of value to say as you are quite obviously biased hypocrites.
The same applies to anyone who ignores sectarian abuse from one side and highlights it on another.

This is all out war and we now have to document every time we are subjected to sectarian abuse as supporters home or away but especially so at home from visiting fans.

We need to start reporting it to the police inside the ground. Not really my style but it appears to be the only way it will be highlighted.
If you do report it, always make sure you state that you're making a complaint and will expect to be updated with a crime number and be referred to victim support as you've been subjected to sectarian abuse. Otherwise they will palm you off.
That way the stats get logged as right now, it's extremely one sided when it comes to reporting this.

I've been saying that for years. We get pumped and it's all, 'how poor we are, how magnificent the opposition were and the crisis at Ibrox'.

We win well and it all, 'Sectarian songs from the terraces, player x,y or z was lucky to stay on the field or Rangers fans set off a flare/littered downtown, sash pitches, green pepperonis, Eggs Benedict, blah blah blah'.

The media are transparent and wholly predictable.
