We missed Aribo yesterday

We miss him roofe and Jack as frankly they are good players ... Aribo and Roofe have great movement and speed of thought which could have been the difference ... however, the reason we didn’t take all three points yesterday is the fact we were not ruthless enough in front of goal - 4 guilt edge chances should have seen the game dead and buried - we conceded 2 goals defensively the 2nd was especially poor from both Goldson initially abs Tav showing Boyle onto his right was criminal.

Exactly where Jack usually helps out. He's the biggest loss.
You're absolutely right on the players we miss, and the lack of depth is worrying.
I'd happily see Morelos go now if we spend the money on 2 or 3 more good players.

It's very well saying "we should beat them anyway" but do people seriously not realise that is not how football works? Even the best teams in the world don't win every game. The better the players in your team, the lower the risk of dropping points. Of course we missed Aribo, he is probably our best player.

What we missed was about 3 absolute sitters and then give away an inexplicably ridiculous second goal.

Inability to defend or find the back of opponents goal does not require Aribo to have been there yesterday.

Agree with the OP. Kept thinking throughout the game that other than Kent and Aribo, we don't have anyone who can dribble through defenders. Aribo's long legs and frame would have been ideal getting in amongst the tight back line yesterday.

Before his injury on that shitey surface at Rugby Park, Murphy was shaping up as another one of the few players we had who actually takes a man on and beats him. Couldn't help reflecting on that as I saw him sitting in their colours in the stand as our on loan player yesterday.

Agreed. Can't wrap my napper round sending him away and keeping Barker and Jones.

We missed Aribo Roofe and Jack big time.
The difference when there in the team is frightening.

There isn’t one player in that Hibs team who would get a gig at Ibrox. If we couldn’t beat them with 11 better players than they had why does adding aribo make that such a certainty?

We had the players to beat Hibs yesterday. We did not win because we were slack in defence , sloppy in finishing and as usual had a dodgy ref. If any one of those areas had been better we would have won.
