The commentator in the City game just said that this was Olympiacos' 10th game against Premiership opposition, and they've taken 9 points from the previous 9 games,..

"They'd probably just escape relegation, going by that"

What a condescending twat, they're playing against one of the top 5 every time, most of the Prem would love to average a point per game against the top 5.

Same last night in the Chelsea v Rennes game. You would think English clubs dominated Europe for the last ten years or so
 
Noticed that of the eight cl groups, seven have a team of considerable travel distance should they drop into the yoofa.
 
Fantastic goal by Man City, Sterling is certainly at the top end of world talents. Used to be a pacey winger with little end product now look at him.

I watched Cercle Brugge v Mouscron earlier on, Cercle Brugge 1-0 up, score another to go 2-0 up and after about 6 minutes it's chalked off by VAR because a player who didnt touch the ball and wasnt near the ball had a foot offside during the buildup.

So it's not just EPL that's messing up VAR.

Just checked, Russia, Ukraine or Greece team in pretty much all of the groups.

we will be going through as group winners anyway ;)
 
After tonight, 7 of the last 16 in the Champions League will already be decided.

After just 4 games.

The group stage is just too easy for the biggest clubs now.
 
Just watching Real Madrid, they set up and play tactically exactly like us. Player for player you can see the similarities.

Been this way for years now. Group stages are fairly underwhelming.

And when you get to the last 16, most of the group winners will spank the 2nd placed teams about 4-0 away from home in the first leg.
 
Can’t believe there’s only been 1 goal, genuinely can’t remember this many glaring chances.
 
Neuer chests ball out of play near the touchline, he then attempts to blast it into the stand in order to get back to his area. The ball though, rebounds off the advertising boards into the hands of a Salzburg player, only one thing left for Neuer to do. :))
