I thought I might have a chance of a comment on the hotline given their ventriloquist doll G Ashley from Ayr has been retired to suitcase duty for awhile?

Seems to me the Daily Record asking retired referees Des Roache and Steve Conroy to give opinions on decisions surrounding Goldson handball incidents in recent games is a waste of time as they are judging those incidents using the rules when they were active referees?

You cannot import rules from the past that have changed in the present, it renders their opinion invalid!

Roache never reffed a Premiership match in his whole career and Conroy was only ever in charge of one OF match throughout his, a pair of duffers.
