Today was a game that would have been lost in previous seasons.

This manager knows cup games need to be played in different manner. Very much a Walter like performance today.

He resisted the rush to bring a striker on today- the Hearts central defenders were excellent today and I think you lose Roofe, Sakala or even Morelos if he was fit in the way Hearts set up. We just had to be patient.

Cap doffed for the McGregor gesture too.

The gesture to bring on McGregor was that of someone who understands the club, the fans and the players.
Rangers were lucky getting Stevie G in when we did, but I feel Gio takes us to a higher level.
