I enjoyed it. As already mentioned some of his stories from playing under the Italian Nazi are funny. What a monumental walloper that guy sounds.
Not surprised to hear we made a cock up of trying to sell him. An English 'keeper in his 20's with a decent reputation and 2 years left on his contract you'd think would be a fairly easy sale. I've said it before but I so wish we had gotten Ross Wilson when we first approached him a few years ago.
Was strange to hear about Gerrard telling him he "wasn't his type of person". Although to be honest Wes didn't say much about what he himself said at the time and there's always two sides to every story.
I actually think Foderingham looked far better in the games he did play when the man-child in McGregor came to the fore and he got himself suspended. He lost goals from distance but having the likes of Kiernan, Martin and Hodson playing in front of you wouldn't give many confidence. I have more respect for him as a player now than I did pre-2018/2019.
