full stadium chanting Clement GTF.
Is that what we're gonna do to any manager that doesn't win the league?
I imagine any potential future manager will look at that and say yeah, fck that.

It's the only opportunity to get the point across to him and the board in the stadium. Is that what we're gonna do to any manager that doesn't win the league?

So you can’t put clement on gardening leave but we found the money last January to pay silva 40k per week ?? Of course we can doing nothing isn’t an optionWhat's the protest for ?
A new manager?
A new board?
A new Chairman ?
A new CEO ?
The latter two have happened
The first cant be financed due to previous overspending to compete with celtc
The second requires someone wanting to buy or sell shares .
At this minute as I write protest will achieve the square route of FA .
This is the crux of the problem, they only seem to care when it causes any issues to their personal business interests, as proved with the cinch issue. To cut to the chase, they only understand when they become the target
The board appoint a yts to identify and recruit the players thoughThe players are part of the problem along with the manager. The board has given him money. Not a lot, but money nonetheless. The board don't scout players. The players are underachieving and look lost. There's zero progression only regression. The board or CEO need to put him and us out of our misery. This though will eat into our budget. Which the board that everyone wants out, will have to pay. Incidentally on this board being removed, whose buying? Nobody is buying with Clement talking about 2012 all the time.
I’d wait to see what Stewart Thornton and Gilligan are going to do. They’re the new kids on the block. Make life difficult for them and the law of unintended consequences could kick in.I'm open to ideas something needs to give here as we are an absolute shambles. Something I've thought about recently is a protest in terms of a fan walk out during a game. I know we need to keep backing the players however if the board don't act something really needs to be done. I'm at a loss to where we go from here it's sickening.
Yeah just like Beale, Gio and Clement. Good luck with that. We assume that good managers want to join us. Why? If the board’s as bad as some claim we’ll get more of the same. Seems to me that we need the new guys to be successful. Make life difficult for them who knows what happens. It's the only opportunity to get the point across to him and the board in the stadium.
If the fans saw progression they would be patient there hasn't been any.
A potential new forward thinking manager won't be remotely bothered about previous chants towards a failed manager, he would hopefully back himself to be a success in a 2 horse race.
tennis balls and 90 minutes of NPORI'm open to ideas something needs to give here as we are an absolute shambles. Jeez the board’s in the middle of being changed or didn’t you notice? This is the crux of the problem, they only seem to care when it causes any issues to their personal business interests, as proved with the cinch issue.
They do not give a monkeys about the club, its a vanity project for them.
They will only take any notice if there is problems for their business, blockade the park business would open eyes, any negativity to their own business interests is the way forward.
Banners will be ignored
Mass walk outs make a good spectacle but they already have the dough in the bank to waste
I wouldnt support action on the players
Blockading the playes in the stadium is poor taste
Constant song about Sack board and manager will be heard but again I doubt they care
The board need to be the ones that are targetted for change.
For the benifit of doubt I am in no way saying there should be anything physical regarding the board, only saying the only way they act is if they are on the receiving end of the negativity
So whats stopping them changing the manager?Jeez the board’s in the middle of being changed or didn’t you notice?
It's about a bit more than not winning the league, him being an absolute shambles of a manger is my main reason! Is that what we're gonna do to any manager that doesn't win the league?
I imagine any potential future manager will look at that and say yeah, fck that.

Also, the problem with a walk out is that the board will consider anyone who stays in the stadium someone who doesn't want change. If twenty thousand did it, it would be damming though. So visible that even our board couldn't deny it.The club already have your money from ticket sales they’re not giving a fuçk if you leave 20 minutes in.
Sorting out the board first. If they’re as bad as some suggest, and we don’t change, why would anyone better than Beale, Gio and Clement want to join us…….unless it’s the attraction of more compo? So whats stopping them changing the manager?
The board being the ownership, the real decision makers, the ones that have dragged the club to what it is now, the ones that gave an open cheque book to Beale.Jeez the board’s in the middle of being changed or didn’t you notice?
The current board of the main company. That's who make the decisions. Not the 2nd highest shareholders who resigned as chairman and his seat at the table. So yes they have set us back years but how many years would it be if they don't bail us out. People keep saying their mistakes is why we need more money. Is it. I'd say it's because we keep giving managers about £15m to spend when we actually don't have that money. He has alot of influence behind the scenes. Who is the decision makers then? They have set us back years, them and the fraud in the dugout need gone asap.
3 members of the current board own hee haw shares. Gilligan said he will move more towards Independent directors, and is doing so with Stewart and Thornton, support him in the changes he is making. The board being the ownership, the real decision makers, the ones that have dragged the club to what it is now, the ones that gave an open cheque book to Beale.
These guys are there, these guys are the ones that make the decisions. They are not fit for purpose
We have a new CEO and Chairman who hopefully have power to change and not just a barrier in place to save the blushes of the Parks
Agreed. King owns more shares than Park but agrees with him on very little. So in voting terms Park is neutralised……but only in the real worldAbsolute nonsense. The board make decisions. He isn't on the board. He has zero hold over decisions.
Pretty much normal for home games,no one would notice the difference, maybe a sit in would. The club already have your money from ticket sales they’re not giving a fuçk if you leave 20 minutes in.
No one knows if the board has improved.Sorting out the board first. If they’re as bad as some suggest, and we don’t change, why would anyone better than Beale, Gio and Clement want to join us…….unless it’s the attraction of more compo?
Gilligan has made progress in improving the board but we’re still not quite there. Improving the board will help improve everything else.
So no one knows they haven’t except that Gilligan has recruited 2 independent directors. And 3 weeks ain’t enough time to judge. No one knows if the board has improved.
That's my point but the two new guys do not equate to 'the board'.So no one knows they haven’t except that Gilligan has recruited 2 independent directors. And 3 weeks ain’t enough time to judge.
But with Gilligan, they’re the start of change. And I’ll repeat - 3 weeks in post. People calling for the board to be fired need to say which members of the board they mean. Otherwise, it’s meaningless. And pointless. That's my point but the two new guys do not equate to 'the board'.
The ones running the club at the time got us put down the leagues. If things continue like this I think the board are in for a slight shock come renewal time. It’s not just about total sales it’s about uptake and other considerations such as CCCS subscription, MyGers memberships, and European packages (which already took a slight hit this year).
Ultimately if fans interpret from the club that 2nd place is becoming more and more the realistic target then interest will dwindle. In ticket sales, in merchandise, in everything. That’s just the truth. And that’s potentially 10s of millions of revenue lost.
I don’t have any.Ok, what’s your suggestion
Always easier to criticise than it is to come up with ideas.I don’t have any.
Easy to criticise bad ideas, block them in? And then what? Daft things like that wouldn’t end well, bit of common sense tells you that.Always easier to criticise than it is to come up with ideas.
See right now, I’d do anything (legal) to get a bit of bloody pride and standards back into this club.

Stop renewing. Stop buying shirts. Stop buying European tickets. Halt the flow of money in - they will soon sit up and take notice!I'm open to ideas something needs to give here as we are an absolute shambles. Yep it can only be done by a larger group no individuals will make any impact unless part of a collective. It’s a protest that needs to be driven by fan groups, UB and RSC’s IMO.
No one is not renewing, the clamour for My Gers points will ensure that. It is bad enough that folk are buying subscriptions for programmes they dont want and season tickets for womens games they dont go to, to ensure they get tickets for European games that you suggest boycotting.Stop renewing. Stop buying shirts. Stop buying European tickets. Halt the flow of money in - they will soon sit up and take notice!
Achieved what?
Would you repeatedly pay money to watch a shite movie? No one is not renewing, the clamour for My Gers points will ensure that. It is bad enough that folk are buying subscriptions for programmes they dont want and season tickets for womens games they dont go to, to ensure they get tickets for European games that you suggest boycotting.
I am pretty sure the current board know exactly what the thoughts of the fans are already. The issue is how do they get out of this situation and who wants to take over the club once they do go. I see no encouragement of people on the sidelines with fists full of cash waiting to take advantage of the boards current situation. Other than Dave King who wants to take money out of the club rather than put it in.
Do we really want to go down that road to starve our club of money given the last set of accounts ? As a support we really need to look at the bigger picture here.
Both left the club.Achieved what?
No. Do you equate going to watch Rangers with going to the pictures?Would you repeatedly pay money to watch a shite movie?
The fans of the day had no sympathy for our former illustrious captain, as manager, crowds as low as 3500 forced him to resign and the board to act. I doubt that would happen today, but who knows.
Is Gilligan still at the club? But with Gilligan, they’re the start of change. And I’ll repeat - 3 weeks in post. People calling for the board to be fired need to say which members of the board they mean. Otherwise, it’s meaningless. And pointless.
He is still a director. He is there to help the new guys bed in and to help them make changes to the board. The plan is to have more independent directors and fewer investor directors. He said this when he was appointed. Gilligan is an independent sort of guy and no one’s patsy. Is Gilligan still at the club?
If so, in what capacity?
