Aye sure the TA booed him which led to the 'No Surrender Ian Black' chants.Did he get capped when he was with us?

Listen he was known as a hatchet man but I was a fan of his. He could pass a ball, gave a bit of dig and had a bit of swagger.
The reason people don’t like Ian Black is down to one reason. Jealousy.
On a playing front side, yes.Of all the shit, thats the thing that sickened you?
He may not have been the best player we ever signed, but he certainly wasn't the worst.
Tried his best, but ultimately wasn't as good as we thought when we signed him.
I certainly don't wish him any I'll.
For that reason alone, should never have been near us.Still get the rage when he done Jelavic at Tynecastle.
My thoughts, word for word.He was a c*nt before he signed for us, he was a c*nt when he played for us and he'll still be a c*nt now.
Never understood the signing at all, never rated him and not surprised where he ended up.
being honest mate,One of the worst players I have ever seen play for us. I can’t stand the sight of him.
Plus the Union Bears had a banner for him as well.No surrender Ian Black.
Sang by almost all of Ibrox

I’m not exactly his biggest fan, but there were far worse players than Ian Black playing for us at that point
See him all the time in Edinburgh shops. He fixes freezers in supermarkets etc..Just google him mate.
This. In the stands at Tynecastle that day and even from behind goals could see how horrible it was.Don’t think I ever got past taking out Jelavic and Tynecastle dirty player at best.
