What if Hearts and Aberdeen go bust?

If a football club goes bust and does not complete a season then all results are expunged if those 2 clubs who have specifically highlighted financial concerns went to the wall and all their results declared null and void then that would mean a big shift in points for us and them. Is that why they are trying to rush a decision?

2 will be promoted to fill their place

Hearts fans could support hibs.

Aberdeen caley thistle.

They did say we could support St Mirren during our troubles mind.

It would be no big deal. Aberdeen start again in the Highland league and Hearts in the East of Scotland League. Could provide both with tasty local derbies and a few years to restructure their finances. No big issue.
Yip given their support to have us kicked from pillar to post whist being placed in the hands of individuals of questionable character I couldn't care less if either went bust or both I'd prefer it to be Aberdeen and Hibs but only slightly. It's not our problem they hate us so tough on them.

I for one would certainly miss that feeling you get on a Friday where you think either one of them might do us a wee favour at the weekend by beating Celtic.

Only to have it dashed when they fail to lay a glove on them and get pumped home or away. Then raise their game against us.
Ah, the Better To Travel Than Arrive syndrome? :p

The SPL now formally the SPFL is a league where certain clubs can finish bottom of the league twice and not be relegated.

They just make up the rules as they go. If a year from now Rangers were 15 points clear they’d probably bring in some new rules that would exempt Rangers from winning the league or qualifying for the UCL.

We really need to hand in our notice and use the time to get out of this yahoo run league.

Maybe that’s why they’re in a rush to get themselves appointed tainted champions, in case their serfs go bust and can’t vote.

I seem to remember both of these clubs saying they were struggling financially after we were demoted. So for the second time in a decade, something happens that changes their match day income and they release statements on how much difficulty they’re facing.

Perhaps they can’t live within their means if they go this close to the wall every time something changes.

But really, who cares? :D

There will be a rule change and anyone going bust this season will be looked upon as exceptional circumstances and be helped to keep going.

We all know that wouldn't happen but yeah
