Most definitely we need attacking players now off real quality of course they will cost good money but we need quality players who take their only chance or someone who can make that telling pass.
So far so good so keep the work Allen/Gerrard.
I do feel we will get 1/2 real good quality loans players near end of English transfer window

I reckon he will keep Tavernier. I agree though that Foderingham, Windass and Morelos may well be sold. Probably at least 1 of Alves/Cardoso as well. Suspect it may be much later in the window though - we may still have all of them for EL QR1.

That lot would significantly increase the 'kitty'.

Agree. They’re not nearly as good as they think they are. We should front end all that we can.

Even if we come up a bit short next season it may still help us get an extra Europa tie which may mean £1m or so of our investment is paid back ?

I would keep both Tav & Morelos but agree on the others VB.

We could get 6m to 7m for the other four & could potentially get a OOC central defender such as Martin Kelly or Bjellend or Onuoha (?) allowing investment in decent quality further forward.

Just to be clear, I can only see Morelos being offloaded if the player wants to go. I think he has enormous potential - but he has to want to be here.
 
I'd like us to bring in more experienced quality players for midfield and forward position. Hopefully Steven Davis and Fernando Torres.
 
Forward has to be priority with a real lack of numbers there. We still need fullback cover especially for rb as godson must go. After that it depends what formation we are going to play whether it is more can or wingers.
 
Jack can fill in at RB as can McCrorie. I'd like to see a commanding physical midfield dictator and a big strong pacey proven goalscorer and maybe a No. 10 who can beat a man and chip in with a few goals.
 
We are off to a flyer lads and its gave me a semi but as a bare minimum before the europa qualifiers I would need to see another commanding CB, a fergie/davis type MF and a proven goalscoring CF before I get a full on throbber.

Before the Europa qualifiers? Think you’d best get some Viagra in mate, I reckon the next batch of ‘major’ signings will be after some outgoings.
 
full backs and forwards for sure, and one more central midfielder. Flanagan or his like would complete the defence for me. Attack for me lacks players who would be able to unlock packed defences, as we see at home too often. Two mobile attackers to play either side of Morelos. And im not sold on Jack, Dorrans or Docherty so another central midfielder would do the trick

Tbf you may be right if having to wait to after the world cup for solanke is anything to go by but with the business the gaffer has done so far suggests he wants it done sooner rather than later and in time for the qualifiers.

I think a lot is going to be dependant upon whether he wants to keep Windass and Morelos - and whether they want to stay. Sell them, and we will buy big in the attacking midfield and striking areas. If we don’t, I think we will simply ‘tinker at the edges’ so to speak in the £1m and below bracket.

I actually think Tav and John could be much more effective if we played 3CB's-More attacking time and much less defensive responsibility. And to be honest-I don't see why we can't play with 3CB's in most of our league and cup games. We should be strong enough with most teams only playing with one striker against us
 
Would like a big centre forward target man for Morelos to play off. Never had a striking partnership since Hately and McCoist.

You may be right.

Apparently the gaffer wants windass to stay though and im happy with that but im not so sure about morelos' commitment but I hope he stays for atleast another season as ive got a feeling that with the right sort of guidance he will tear up the league but who knows what tricks the main man has up his sleeve.

I just hope we have a solid spine going into the qualifiers to give us a chance of progressing and speaking of that.....i would love progres in the first round to make up for last seasons embarrassment.
