Just thinking back to when the media fawned after John Fleming (Head of Referees) phoned Brendan Rogers to apologise for a penalty decision.

We should be all over this as a club and fans and demand the same here. Might just shame Beaton into doing the right thing.

Last night, the narrative was being driven towards Alfie's 'history' creating the doubt for the referee. Perhaps they should be examing Beaton's history with Alfie and Rangers?

I don't think Mr Gerrard will be fooled again by Beaton's mistakes.

Yep. Was the 1st thing I thought when they started the maybe because of Morelos' reputation/history nonsense.

Our manager got sent off and we did not get two penalties because Beaton is terrified that he is going to get the same abuse he took for doing his job against the scum. If that is the case he should never be allowed to referee us, or them again.

Yet just two months later the exact same referee robbed us of 3 points at Rugby Park with about 5 game changing decisions all wrongly given against us.

Another game where he booked Morelos for diving and then chopped off a perfectly good late winner from him late on.

I’ve said it a few times, but Beaton has cost us more points than any of the current crop of referees, and he almost cost us again last night.
 
That whole episode with crispy lips was complete parody. They are definitely a protected species up here.

What sticks in my craw, is back to a few Seasons back, and Cheetin Beaton was created, first game of the Season Hivs, our player gets physically assaulted yet nothing gets done, and we have a player sent off. The guy should resign, Na I’ll just take the thousand pound for ninety minutes.
 
I don't for one minute believe the scared excuse for the way the officials in Scotland treat us. They are all arrogant assholes who know that if they want to stay in the top flight then they have to dance to Lawell and Celtic's tune.

Look I know he’s a good manager/coach but I can’t stand the man.

I know it’s not the point of the post.

This is the orchestrated ring of RC's that control the SPFL and the SFA they are a minority in the population in Scotland but have a massive majority in positions of power at the governing bodies and its calculated, definitely not by chance this is the stranglehold they have and it needs to be changed for the good of Scottish football.

This is the main problem with Beaton, and probably the major difference between us and them.

The game against Hibs which was the most outrageous refereeing display I'd seen in person. Some of his decisons that day were either massively incompetent or blatant cheating. Now I'd never want us to attack a referee or their family. We have a moan about it among ourselves but nothing untoward happens to the ref, either being demoted or censured by his bosses.

After the Old Firm of Dec 2018 where we beat them 1-0 going on 10-0. Everybody from Rogers to Keevins after the game said they had no complaints and that Beaton had a good game. 24 hours later some mental tim makes a video of Alife incidents during the game that quickly gets shared around Social Media along with a supposed picture of Beaton drinking in a Rangers pub the night of the game and before you know it theres an absolute sh!tstorm assisted by Michael Stewart and Chris Sutton regularly pouring more petrol on the fire to keep it burning. Beaton gets 3 weeks of hell due to it being the winter break and then has to get a Police Escort to his first game of the new year because of threats from mental fans from the east end.

Since that happend, last season in particular, Beaton cost us at least 6 points by not doing his job properly. Games at Pittodrie and Rugby Park spring to mind.

Then theres last night. His sheer arrogance in the way he acted with SG. Normally I would think what SG did was unbecoming of a Rangers Manager, but on this occassion he was 100% right.

Beaton got the decision wrong and made it look miles worse for himself by trying to look authorative on TV because he knew the cameras were there. In the end he made himself look a right d!ck.
 
That tube Walker was even saying Morelos didn’t react enough to the ref. He would be the first to condemn him for reacting. It’s time we spoke out against his treatment, someone needs to ask the question on why he is being targeted. They created a hatred towards Alfie that you have other teams fans abusing him constantly, the media scrutinises him every game. I would go as far to ask the question is this hatred due to the fact he is a foreign player and therefore is racism at play in Scottish football today.? I know it’s due to a general hatred of all things Rangers and he has been the easy target for the last few years but If it’s put out there correctly all these pundits will certainly think twice on how they target him in the future.

The Kilmarnock game at Rugby Park last season and the Hibs game under Pedro being another two examples.

yeah he did but only to focus on a foul in the middle of the park which ofcourse isnt the same as red cards or penalty decisions.... not the whole performance and about 10 decisions in the match all of them going Hibs way and against Rangers. McLean knew how the media would report it.

we have the most sleekit match officials in the history of world sport the effort that goes into causing Rangers problems is quite amazing.
