Arsenal Football TV.
Guilty. I admit to watching this, and it is quite entertaining.

For those that don't know....the channel has been going for almost 10 years.Started by Don Robbie? and well organized, sponsored, and very popular all over the world. With many different fans tuning in.
They have a membership on youtube of 1.33 million subscribers.

There are now Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, fan channels, as a result etc...all helping each other survive on youtube.
Obviously this type of supporters group media have boomed by not having fans in the stadium, but this channel has been going like I said for almost 10 years, and so obviously they are doing something!

Rivals like Arsenal, Spurs.Arsenal, Chelsea etc..but can sit down in a room with supporters from each set of fans, and debate football without killing each other!
Although sometimes you can tell its' been close to blows!

But there is respect, because they all love the 'beautiful game', and some of them are quite knowledgeable about different teams. Apart from their own.

Now I know god willing Covid is on the decline, and supporters will be allowed back in some form. But... it may be some time before the grounds are filled to capacity.
So a watch along with our supporters may be a way for some who don't have Rangers TV, and can't afford to either go to games, or pay for Rangers TV.

Question.Could this work for us?

And secondly would you watch it?

Also with C/L games coming up.Especially away, could this be a option, if some games are not televised live?

Maybe it could be an expansion of 'Heart and Hand' guys doing videos like what they do already?

Rangers are one of the biggest supported teams in the world, and are going places!
I think many would enjoy watching something like this.If they obviously couldn't get to see live games. What better way as an alternative, than to watch it with your own fans!!

But could it work?

Pros, and cons?

I’m sure there’s a guy that already does something similar after our games.
@David Edgar might be able tell us some more details?

@Manfromdelmonte was doing this for a wee while after matches. Not sure if it's still on the go or not. Ones, I seen, I quite enjoyed and a bit different to the 'norm' after games. Won't be everyone's cup of tea but, a bit like Heart and Hand, if you are interested to hear what fellow Bears think of whats going on at the Club, it's worth a go. Certainly makes a change from Rangers hating scum in the msm sneering constantly. I'd say there is definitely an audience for it.

Are these still available to watch?
They AFTV are raking in money doing this channel, and have been traveling all over Europe, going to other grounds, just making videos etc...
Talking to fans all over the world. Not just Arsenal.
Bears talking to other Bears all over the globe and discussing The Gers on video.

It could even bring in revenue to the club.
I live in the states and would love to promote this over here.

Who being shite?
Arsenal?

Red neck… please explain?
The majority of there views come from them being shite and dropping points. It’s easy to see by looking at the views of videos wins are much lower than loses or draws.

Red neck growing men shouting above each other unable to have a five minute normal conversation about where things might’ve went wrong

They have had a poor season true, but you don’t get to 1.3 million subscribers just because your team is playing poorly.
I don’t notice them shouting above each other?
They are passionate for sure, but there is nothing wrong with that.
Still I respect your point of view.

I watch David’s report after every game.Sometimes before the Gaffer’s had his say.And listen to the H&H podcasts. That won’t change, and neither it should.
It wasn’t David that was doing it,it was another guy but I can’t remember his name.

Can you confirm this @Manfromdelmonte ?

I’ll watch AFTV when they have a poor result. Good entertainment. I’m sure most of us get their anger, frustration and upset when they get beat.

You've pretty much described FF after a draw/defeat mate, it just happens to be in written form.

Gers TV, from what l seen, was a guy interviewing people outside the Bristol Bar after a game, and the guy doing the hosting would get tore apart on here even more than Tom Miller!

The thing with these channels is you need an anchor capable of carrying a conversation.

Same goes for a podcast. @David Edgar etc have that quality to be reasoned , honest and articulated on all things Rangers whereas there are others where it's like listening to dugs howling at the moon.

Have to admit i will have a wee look at the AFTV youtube clips if Arsenal have lost just to watch the 'heated discussions'.

That said they guys really care about the club and know what the problems are.

Arsenal fan tv is just football porn for the opposition fans. They've got so many subscribers because people subscribe to watch when they get beat and all lose the plot, not because they provide thoughtful insights into the game.

@David Edgar has said he wouldn't want to to run H&H like what, something that people come just to laugh at.

The fact the host of AFTV had to have security when he went to games to stop Arsenal fans attacking him says it all for me.

I watch AFTV and I think they do a great job. Anyone who laughs at them shouldn't laugh too hard. They are very representative of genuine football supporters who love their club.
What I do think could have traction is Follow Follow TV! Watchalongs with FF guys, games & entertainment with Rangers supporters and match reactions. All created within a Follow Follow framework. That means friendly innocent interactions rapidly cranking up to angry arguments, and Mark or other admin settling disputes with a ban. All for our viewing pleasure on Youtube!

AFTV is popular with fans of other clubs because they tune in to laugh at the meltdowns. I'm glad there isn't a similar Rangers channel. As a subscriber to H&H I'm glad they opted for the paid subscription model with quality content, rather than the clickbait youtube model trying to get as many hits as possible.

That Gerstv is absolutely chronic, on a level I haven't seen before.

Understatement tbh, it was absolutely embarrassing. Genuinely don’t know one Rangers fan that didn’t slaughter it

The clips outside the Rangers shop and the Bristol were a tough watch

Think most watching it will be like us this season watching filth podcasts and pissing ourselves laughing at them
Gers tv aint very good but i enjoyed watching Si interviewing fans after matches and maybe he should stick to that type of content when fans are allowed back

I was trying to be as respectful as I could but I agree it was one of the most embarrassing videos I have watched, they still have a YouTube phone in live show and its shocking.

The biggest pull for Arsenal FTV was them ranting after every game as they slowly but surely slipped down the table. Other fans liked that so tuned in but obviously watch more stuff now. We liked watching that donkey Killie fan ranting but there’s no way I’d be watching any knob ranting about Rangers.

Was a decent watch when it first started. The arguments between Claude and Ty were funny and overall it did seem like a platform to give the ordinary supporter a voice, away from the sanitised BS of Sky Sports and M

It is completely dominated by fame-hungry posers now who just view it as a step on the influencer/social media career ladder.

Fair play to Robbie though, a smart businessman who will have made A fortune out of it

A joint pod with our rivals is a non starter.

Have you see the nick of the f*cking mutants that do the tim podcasts? They look like they share teeth and interbreed with siblings. Don’t think you could convince @vanderhogg and @David Edgar to enter a room with them, let alone a conversation for all the gold in Fort Knox

I've watched it once or twice it pops up with all the football related stuff. Not big on it if I'm honest and one of the guys is a heavy tool. He's the one that runs a Sunday league team I'm sure. Runs his mouth acting the big man and pants it when confronted.

Arsenal TV is basically for chasing likes and cash. Dancing bears at the circus - even if it means that rival fans laugh regularly. Not for me.

I love laughing at Tims. But that's the after thought - I'd rather talk about us.

That said, so do Tims so it might work :))
