RvN out of that list for me. Did well at PSV, while also having a fantastic career that everyone will know about and respect. Could very much be a Gerrard like signing, except with the benefit of experience as a manager at a top club in a league better than our own.

Looking at your list this appears to be the man for the job

Not for me. Nowhere near the kind of personality we need just now.

Last year I wanted that Bosz at PSV. Don't think he,ll be leaving there now. I've went for Glasner don't know an awful lot about him, but could maybe the type of guy we need.

We haven't even binned the current manager yet and I'm sick of the situation.

The amount of threads on it must run in to dozens.

Knutsen, Papszun or Gallardo.

Honestly, I'd get Knutsen in right now if it was possible. Ajax and Brighton were put off by the % he receives from Bodo/Glimt for transfers, but, honestly, we don't develop and sell anywhere near enough players right now and we need to get that ball rolling on a consistent basis.

If we could get him in for 3-4 years to to do all of the above, while winning titles, then I don't see the problem.

The older I get, the less about world football but I genuinely don't have a clue. I know who I wouldn't want but honestly have no idea of a manager who would realistically move to us and who could put us on the right track. That's for the board to decide so all we can do is hope they're up to the task.

If Roma bag Mourinho im not even joking we should go all out for him. Don’t even care the price sell any player to fund it
If you don't ask you don't get.

Even since 2012 I've always thought that there must be someone out there that would love a challenge more than money.
Managers in that bracket don't need the money and they would still get the media attention so why not ask the question ?

From that list Gallardo is the standout, has managed 2 of the biggest clubs in South America in Nacional and River Plate and won silverware with both. He has the belief and confidence in his decisions and style of play, also has the gravitas, presence and ability to handle pressure that a Rangers manager requires. Unfortunately his salary requests probably rules him out of being considered.

Glasner, Wicky or Jensen would be the other 3 that would be highest on my list from those named.

Noooo OP what are you doing?!? You know the board have been waiting on this thread before the make their move. Bisgrove and Bennet will have now set in motion the managers sack and will approach which ever manager is top of this poll by midnight tonight!

Here is a choice of 15 managers for you to pick from. Granted some might be more out of reach than others or more financially available to us. You decide who when making your decision.
We don't need indeed must not appoint a foreigner. This is a time for probably a Scotsman who knows the club, it's history, understands the fans and knows where Rangers need to be based on the past 11 years. I also apply that to players. More Scots complemented by a few good foreigners. We need guys in that dressing room that understand the fight. This experiment has failed

Do you know how much he gets?

I wouldn't have an issue incentivising a manager to develop players

Not playing.

The last two managers were the supporters choices and they got it wrong. We have only had two decent Rangers managers in the last decade and that was where the supporters had no say in it. Gerrard restored our pride and Warburton at least had an approach that you could recognise the manager was putting his stamp on the way we played.
