Why Cant We Beat Aberdeen

In 3 games,we have only managed a draw.
In 3 games we have scored 1 goal,a penalty.
In 3 games,we have managed to keep 11 players on the park only once.
In the last 2 games we have created very little,tonight even against 10 men we struggled to break them down.
This is probably the worst Aberdeen team ive seen in years,yet we struggle against them.
Should we be changing formation against them,as we look very predictable?

Well tonight we sent out a woefully inept midfield so that’s part of it. Added to that our talisman let us down badly and showed all the worst facets of himself and none of the good.

Our biggest threat is from out wide and their defence and keeper are good at handling crosses. We have no creativity from central midfield.

In games like this you need creative attacking midfielders to break the lines. Look at Aberdeen’s last game - all it took was a Christie run into the box and they were undone.

We don’t have creative midfielders nor midfield runners. Until we fix that we’re winning nothing. We are so easy to defend against.

We’re one dimensional, in that we have zero creativity through the middle. It’s as simple as that. Coulibaly is a passenger. A man down. Jack is a very limited player who does one aspect of the midfield role very well. Ejaria relies on the movement of others around him and can’t burst forward with the ball.
