We’re approaching the point where we may need to accept that this is our new level.

You can only keep expecting a big performance around the corner so many times - facts and form suggest that’s not the case.

Yes, 7 games in and we won 5 of those but let’s just abandon all hope. The chances of us starting to play well is such a pie in the sky dream that it’s damaging our collective mental health to raise our expectations

Ryan Jack is huge for us and how we play.

It's no coincidence Tav and Goldson are looking a bit shaky again down that side when Jack isn't there.

He also started to add a bit of quality going forward and scored a few crackers to help unlock defences.

A bit shaky is an understatement.

Middle to front we need fresh ideas. A fit again Hagi, Bacuna and Sakala getting game time will hopefully bring that as it's not working for Roofe and Morelos at the moment.

We also have our 2 first choice full backs not being at their nest as well as Goldson looking the shadow of himself. There is too much going on right now to see us hitting any kind of top tier form anytime soon.
