Willie Collum starting as he means to go on this season

They look a look a lot quicker going forward than we do, never mind the help they get from refs.
You've got to be at it mate surely . Playing Hamilton at home who have lost most of their first team during lockdown, bit different to travelling away to one of the toughest places in the league.
Well tough for everyone but the bheasts as we all know the sheep don't mind laying down and taking s skelping off their wee bheast pals

In fairness, there was no danger of the mentally challengeds dropping points today, referee help or not.

Hamilton are absolutely woeful.

From watching some of their game a few observations

They get a lot more bodies into the box than we do and are happy to launch crosses. We seem reluctant to put many into the box and instead try to pass our way into the net

Edouard looks sharp and is scoring where as Morelos still looks a yard short of being match fit and isn’t scoring yet

Their full backs sneak in at the back post for a cross which is something ours don’t. Barisic and Tav rarely charge in at the back post to get on the end of a cross.

That said, 11 v 11 were more than capable of beating them. However, they seem to carve diddy teams open far easier than we do and IMO a large part of that is due to them not playing with 2 defensive midfielders at home like we do

Apologies for the link to the tweet, but have a look at the blatant foul in the lead up to their goal, Hamilton player tripped and Collum waves play on as if it were the other way about.

Get used to it lads we’re in for a tough season. As Clancy said publicly, they know what’s at stake for their team.

Hamilton got done with a shocking decision at Parkhead last season too.

Hamilton will give that mob a harder game than Aberdeen any day of the week. Sidemooth McGee was proud of his Aberdeen team after losing 0-9 to that mob.

As much as it pains me to admit, they had a far greater goal difference than us last season - they have the ability to kill off games early on where as we struggle to find the net which usually results in us trying to hold on to a one goal lead.

Something that came back to bite us on the arse time and time again.

contrast this game, with the way St Mirren line up next Saturday at Ibrox.

Hamilton look open and are in no way sitting in, St Mirren will play a block of 10 sitting in the the final third, it will stifle us and a moment of magic aside we will struggle.

we look quick going forward in Europe because teams don’t sit in, we have to learn how to deal with this

Comparing us at Aberdeen and them at home to Hamilton offers limited insight into our respective strengths/weaknesses.

We've just taken 3 points from one of our most difficult games of the season.

Had a look at my sports app and the headline picture is Brown squaring up to a Hamilton player, the guy never changes.

He changes when he plays a remotely competent European team and gets shown up for the flat track bully donkey that he is. No “hard man” act there.

I’m not basing it on our game with Aberdeen. Even last season we were the same. We’ve literally got the same team barring 1 new player yesterday.

Hamilton are woeful but when the tims go in front they always look to keep going for more

Yesterday we were in control, got our goal then took our foot off the gas and let Aberdeen get a hold of the ball in spells. The only other real chance we created yesterday after our goal was Aribo’s in the 92nd minute
