Woodburn playing for Wales

See this lad playied again last night against Moldova. With a first name of Ben wondered if any relation to our own Willie Woodburn - was his nickname not "Big Ben" ?

I seriously doubt he's any relation to Willie whose "Big Ben" nickname apparently came from his celebration of a win against Benfica.

Looks a hell of a prospect but as mentioned above, the comparisons to Bale already will weigh heavy on him.

Looks a great prospect. Was at the Wales v Austria game last week and as well as his goal, I was impressed with his movement and play generally. Showed great football intelligence / maturity for a 17 year old.

Would perhaps have been a good loan target for us when we were on the hunt for a wide player during the transfer window.
