Wrexham mob getting police escort from brazen head

Who would have thunk that Wrexham of all clubs had such a putrid support and were close to Filth FC?
What a shame, I always thought of them as an authentic small Welsh club that had no nasty side issues.
Oh well, a club I suppose we will never have anything to do with again, given that they are bottom dwellers.
Incredibly and sadly they seem to deserve their obscurity.

They’d better hope we don’t.

Looking at their forum i feel sorry for the genuine fans that just wanted to see their team playing at Ibrox.
If I was them I would be questioning why so many of the green brigade managed to secure away end tickets, surely at some point their ticket office should have questioned why there was so many tickets being posted to Glasgow (assuming there was tickets bought online obviously)

Their Wrexham pals bought the Timpanzees their tickets in Wales.

This is quite strange, and I'm hoping that some Linfield fans can come on and confirm that Wrexham made them (Blues) feel welcome at The Racecourse ground a few years back, when a Linfield euro tie had to be played at a neutral ground. Linfield officials were so pleased with the warmth of the reception that they invited Wrexham to Windsor Park for a friendly.

Where does this theory come from mate, first I've heard of it.
Actually I was in a pub a few years ago, and some lads came in with thick scouse accents, asked them the usual if they were Reds or Blues, they explained they were from North Wales and up for the rugby.

Shame on any Wrexham fans who joined with this mob. Lest we forget.

"On 11 July 1972 the Provisional IRA detonated a device in Great James Street, Londonderry and when soldiers followed this up, a sniper, positioned at the top of the street, fired a single round into Bombardier Terrence Jones’ back. The married man from the Wrexham area was 23 and was attached to an Army medical unit."

"Guardsman David Roberts, from Holywell, North Wales, was 25 years old when he completed his training with the Welsh Guards and was posted to Northern Ireland in 1973.
Just two weeks into his time there, on November 24, he was killed by a roadside bomb while on foot patrol in Crossmaglen, County Armagh, becoming the 200th British soldier to die in Northern Ireland."

Pretty much yes,the bastardised scouse accent spreads as people leave the city, See Essex and cockney
Agree, spent 9 years living near Chester, the proper Liverpool folks referred to those out of the city etc as “woolly backs” or “plastic scouse”

I’m saying they were all talk, they didn’t cause any bother. They backed off each time they were challenged and gave it all the “come on’ patter from 20 yards. They didn’t manage to cause bother because they (and their GB pals) didn’t have the bottle. As for bother later in the town, who knows, it’s easy to pick off a couple of stragglers.
It wasn’t the green brigade it was the other lot that was with them

Are you going to tell me that the Police force in this country aren't politicised?

Not to this extent, as you seem to claim:

"The SNP are busy nation building and we don't fit in. They will shamelessly use any means necessary to marginalise our demographic. Anyone who thinks for a second that the country wont be unduly influenced by a minority were it to go independent needs to wind their neck in. "

I was stuck in traffic in the Gorbals as Plod escorted 'Wrexham' from the Brazen Head. Surely Plod should err on the side of caution and assume the GB are going along for a spot of Saturday high jinks? Surely, given that it is an U-21 match and that there is a strong likelihood that there will be more families with children present than usual, the safety of supporters should be paramount and inebriated 'ultras' leaving from a well known Celtic pub should be denied access to the stadium as opposed to escorted to it?

So the police are so shamelessly marginalising our demographic on the instructions of the SNP that they put enough cops to walk them from this slophouse to our stadium, presumably trying to avoid PRW and Rangers-friendly pubs, and keeping them away from our fans. Right?

Isn't this a bit of a self defeating argument?

Plod can deny you access at the turnstile. This has nothing to do with the club whatsoever.

You clearly have no clue. If you had, you'll know that entry/refusal is only for the club unless there is a crime being committed - eg drunk attempting to enter or entering/attempting to enter with a controlled container or something else that would be arrestable or against the ground conditions. If the stewards have an issue when refusing someone they usually get assistance from the police. Other than that, people with tickets get in, end of story.

For all you seem anti police and think they shouldn't have any part in policing Rangers (because Nikla is telling polis to marginalise Rangers fans and they're all brainwashed, innit?) you seem to also want to absolve the club of any responsibility here. In that case, please clarify exactly who it is you think should be refusing entry to the stadium.

The Rangers support is continually at the mercy of questionable decisions by Police Scotland. Situations where the support can be unnecessarily antagonised or manipulated for PR purposes have happened all too often for it to be a happy accident or a case of mere coincidence.

Because Police Scotland's PR from any interaction with any football crowd is absolutely second to none and has enhanced their reputation so much. Another self defeating argument.

Sorry Officer, that bit has me in tears just thinking of their interaction with fans at the Hibs Cup Final.
They really enhanced their reputation with the lies they told.

And looking at the highlights the police are not focused on the known troublemakers in with the away support but the young Rangers fans intent on singing songs and creating some atmosphere. Ridiculous.

No real surprise that PS concentrate their efforts on the worst behaved fans. Of course that's down to the reputational damage caused by the non stop attacks and demonisation of our fans.

I wonder what we can do about this?

Anyone at football, or society in general, singing the praises of the IRA or other Republican groups are fair game for absolutely anything that comes their way. Don't give a %^*& if it's "banter" to them. Anyone doing it has no sympathy for anything that happens to them for as long as their support of them continues.

20 miles out of Glasgow either north or south, people don’t have Glaswegian accents.
Even all along to the far west tip of North Wales, they speak Liverpudlian.
Totally bizarre.
I was in Prestatyn a few years ago for a football tournament with my sons team and thought there was scousers everywhere, maybe they were just Welsh locals then :)

Didn't the GB turn up at a womens old firm game recently and abuse the female Rangers players?
FFS women and youth games?
I keep saying it but the media should tear these neanderthals apart.
Gets reported as adding colour and atmosphere to the occasion. Utterly pathetic.

Just logged in today (yesterday in recovery) but we missed the game due to being in too late, but we met Welsh guys in the town - small groups of two and three who had been at the game and they all seemed brand new. We were cheering when they mentioned the score and I was even ranting about hating nationalism and the guys were just friendly, so I was a bit shocked to read about the love-in and the presence of tim scarves at the game.

Behave yourself Jorg. You're twisting my words. You don't happen to be an SNP voting Poileasman by any chance do you?
