Asian sports betting company Yabo Sports has appointed Steven Gerrard, the manager of Scottish football team Glasgow Rangers and former Liverpool FC player, as a brand ambassador.
Yabo Sports has acquired the rights to use Gerrard’s image across Southeast Asia and China. The company said it will use the rights to produce branded content and arrange visits to markets in the region.
The deal was brokered by agencies Mediapro Asia and ISL.
Yabo Sports has agreed several football sponsorships this year, including deals with Manchester United, Leicester City and Italy’s Serie A

Gerrard the brand, while totally separate from Rangers, will have some knock on benefit for us.
