'Youl'll Never Walk Alone' - when did the beasts steal this song?

We have never sung it, during the 70's they sang YNWA and we sang UDA all the way, f--k the pope and the IRA, etc, etc in connection with that song, with our scarves above our heids. In the 80's the song was sung quicker and we started to wave our scarves above our heids. Again, we never sang YNWA, that was purely stolen and sung by the TIMS.

Remember the UDA one to the tune of Sailing from Rod Stewart around 75/76 previous to
that was Derrys Walls to Amazing Grace from 1972 onwards and going back further was
Derrys Walls to the Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd in the late 60’s...

I have never heard Rangers fans sing "It's a grand old team to play for " and I have been watching the Gers from the late 50s
No?
Hail, hail, the pope's in jail,
What the hell do we care,
Hope the bastard stays there
....
For it's a protestant team to play for and it's a protestant team to see
And if you know their history it's enough to make your heart go No Surrender,
We don't care what the animals say, what the hell do we care
For we only know that there's going to be a show and the Protestant Rangers will be there

etc.

Forgot all about the Hail Hail the Popes in jail song... Vague memories
of my old man belting this out in the 60’s :D

We sang it at the 1966 Scottish Cup Final, four days after Liverpool beat them in the ECWC, as a wind up to them. I was at the game and remember this very clearly.
I don't remember that but I do remember "You're animals" being chanted
