Coach Malky Thomson has immediately looked forward to Sunday’s league clash after the disappointment of the late loss to Celtic on Wednesday night.

Kirsty Howatt who was stretchered off last night will have a scan today to asses the damage.

Despite Glasgow City’s advantage Thomson insists it’s far too early to call the league.

Looking back on the Old Firm clash he said the positives to take for it were twofold – one, the performance the team turned in and two, the platform for the women’s game with it being played at Celtic Park live on television.

He felt Rangers should have scored at least one of three decent chances and the players have all watched the recording of the game to take what they can from it – the team’s structure was good.
