Had to wait till tonight to see the girls second half.
We were in total control. Very impressed with how we kept winning the ball back and never really gave them a sniff. Hill missing had no effect because our midfield didn’t let them get that far. Kirsty Maclean doing her Steve Davis and another corner more or less straight in from Lizzie Arnott.

Well done Rangers.

Hopefully the draw is kind to us and we get to follow the girls on a wee European adventure.

Of course it is. Next round is seeded based on co-efficient. Currently only 5 teams guaranteed to be there with the other fixtures still being played to identify the other 9. This, however, gives an indication of where we are, with the likes of Benfica and Juventus likely to be potential opponents as well.

We've done great so far. If we make it to the groups it will be an outstanding effort.

Slavia Praha (CZE)* coefficient 47.7662
Rosengård (SWE)* 38.833
St. Pölten (AUT) 25.700
HB Køge (DEN)* 9.550
Rangers (SCO) 4.400

When you look at the womens coefficient standings, Glasgow City are above all the teams we could face bar Slavia and Rosengrad. That’s probably a good barometer.

Full, updated, list of those in our part of the draw. Top 7 are seeded so we will draw one of them.

Outstanding result today! Been away all weekend and only just able to check the score there.

Fingers crossed for the next round

She’s the niece of our close family friends. She’s had offers for elsewhere but stayed with Rangers. Did very well in her higher exam results too. We’re delighted for her.
From the brief glimpses I've seen of her play, and her attitude during interviews, she has everything required to go right to the top.

Incidentally, to see Real Madrid’s official twitter account tweeting about a Scottish footballer scoring the goal (against her old side) to send their women’s team into the next round is a bit surreal, but should be exactly the kind of thing that inspires all the young girls playing just now.

meanwhile BBC Scotland cannot even send 1 reporter to cover a CL qualifier (especially after the exposure the womens game got over the summer)

yet can send Laura Miller et al on a jolly to Seville

Outstanding talent. First saw her play Scotland vs England U17 at Northumberland last year. Ran the show!

I’m assuming being unseeded we’ll be at home first?
No mate. First out the bowl at home first.

The teams are split into two pots: seeded and unseeded. The seven teams with the highest coefficients are seeded.

One ball is taken from each bowl and placed in a large empty bowl, where they are shuffled. The first team drawn will play its first match at home against the second team drawn.

Probably the most chances I can remember a team creating against us other than the other full time teams. More comfortable second half
