You and I know that is not happening under his stewardship.Welcome Back!
Time to kick on now and no longer be a soft touch.
If we lack anything on the pitch, it will no longer be fight.

Even more remarkable for me that only 3 of them were "before my time"Still remarkable to me that we’ve only had 18 permanent managers.
All the best mick.
most people have probably fallen asleep watching the Brazil gameBut as I can't be wholly positive about anything coming out of Ibrox just now - can I ask which YTS employee is currently running the PR side who thought during the middle of a Brasil game in the world cup was the best time to grab the news cycle? Or sre we trying to sneak it in so Gary Keown doesn't notice and criticise us again?
Ilias Chair.Any QPR players worth bidding on???
Had me worried there that the OP had lifted it from the official websiteThree pages in and the name of our new manager is still misspelt in the thread title.
If he hits the ground running and a top half prem team comes calling it means £££. If it’s a rolling contract he can leave for next to nothing.my thoughts as well. club should be moving to a rolling contract.
no doubt, there will be accusations of uninspiring, should have looked elsewhere, ex employees club etc
But having said that. now he is appointed, i am totally behind him and so should everyone.

I’m sure there are a few more terms than just the duration. Its a four year deal, when we announce deals with options we do.
Ilias Chair.
In the Morocco WC squad but probably outwith our price range, unless we sold someone.
I expect it won't be much different; which is good.Be interesting to see how he adapts from being there pals as coach to manager being ruthless and not a nice guy like Gio was.
I wish him all the best and hope he’s successful.
Aye. Disappointed we didn't go for the weekly rolling contract. That’s a lengthy contract
Yes, will have to be the guy with the stick now.Be interesting to see how he adapts from being there pals as coach to manager being ruthless and not a nice guy like Gio was.
I wish him all the best and hope he’s successful.
I'm confident he will get us better organised, fitter and harder to play against. He needs backed by the board and us fans.Sure is.
But not one he’ll be afforded the luxury of 3 and a half years to implement.
Obviously new managers will want a degree of security when they come to a club. But it’s probably a year longer than I would have liked.
Realistically we’re looking to stabilise things and win a cup or two this season…then next season the expectation will be, huge rebuild or not, winning the title.
So essentially, this will either prove the master stroke we hope or, it will have ended in tears, long before the duration of that contract
Obviously you appoint a manager you believe in.2026. F uckin never learn
What are you on about? We meant to just give him till the end of the season and see what happens?2026. F uckin never learn
In fairness, that wasn't my thread title so I ain't taking the blame. :shh:Four pages in and the name of our new manager is still misspelt in the thread title.
