SPFL to investigate the postponement of the game

I’m sure there will be no punishment as there will not likely have been any breach of regulations by Dundee, but I’m sure it will be Rangers fault !!!
I get the sarcasm, however, Dundee have literally broken one of the SPFL rules for maintaining their ground - it will be hilarious to see them come up with something to justify a strong worded email.

It should be

'SPFL to haul Dundee over the coals because of the state of their pitch'. A Scottish top flight pitch should not be in that state in the 21st century.

After watching Sam from Footy Adventures vlog it seems clear that Nelms and Dundee are doing the bare minimum in terms of upkeep for Dens because they seem to have the mindset that they're building a new stadium that they don't even have permission for yet.

Dundee have been looking to move ground for some time.

They cut the ground staff budget, and wouldn’t listen to them or their advice, and were speaking to contractors behind their back.

The Board of Dundee are snakes.

Only because Sky are probably raging.
The madness is that this is all that will have prompted action by the SPFL.

Never mind the visiting club, to hell with supporters (home & away)… no - we have an upset TV provider & sponsor and must be seen to do something.

Dundee have postponed 4 of what should be 15 home games in the league this season. They should be having the riot act read to them.

Going to go against the grain here, and say they'll likely punish Dundee. Fourth call off this season, fucked with the telly deal and don't seem to have taken any steps to remedy the situation. In fact seem to be blaming, 'mother nature' as if it's a surprise to anyone that it sometimes pishes with rain for 24 hours straight in Scotland.

Sky are likely giving the suits a very hard time over it. What's an appropriate punishment for brazen and consistent rule violations? That's the question.

The fact there’s no financial or league points punishment for a fourth occasion in one season shows the league up for the Mickey Mouse organisation it is.

They could have spent a few thousand pounds and bought a couple half pitch size tarpaulins to protect the pitch when weather events like this are expected.

They won't be investigating anything, and they'll certainly not be looking to hold Dundee accountable.

The SPFL will ensure Scotland remains a footballing backwater.
Not so sure of this.

The Scottish game basically has been brought into disrepute considering this is the fourth time this has happened with the same club responsible.

The incompetents that run this league have to be seen to do something as they are a laughing stock in the eyes of world football.

They absolutely need to do something, but I just don't think they will. Mainly because it'll hurt Dundee, do Celtic no favours and it's Rangers that have an extra day to play football in a busy schedule.

I know it all sounds like shouting about conspiracy, but these fuckers haven't really done a single thing right, ever. Even if it does bring the whole of Scottish football into disrepute.

Don’t you think there issue is they have created a set of four clubs , and there fanbase , all arguing for similar attention and action ? As we can all imagine let’s just think each of those clubs is fairly close to another that’s how the world works well before you know it that ‘could’ amount to a sizeable majority of SPL clubs with the same anti-Dundee position .

some of the desperate ones may push for a points penalty , after all they have a financial advantage here as they are not complying with league rules and releasing funds for players eg .

Hope Dundee FC get burnt down on this one they have made a number of enemies now

I think the same RP, due to Sky the SPFL have to be seen to issue some form of punishment, however heavy or lenient that may be remains to be seen.

SPFL will find what we all ready know rhat Dundee were negligent in their preparations and they will be given a warning.
Anyone expecting any financial penalties on Dundee will be disappointed.

They probably still owe Dundee a very large favour for helping them enable Celtic win the ZOOM cup.
