We were poor, dreadful performance, but don’t lie.
 
Clueless, a man to the good and we can't break down 10 men just like Wednesday night. Ejaria, what the f^*k is he all about, the pirouette champion of the SPL.

The lad Kerr had some game for Dundee as did the big black centre half, mopped up nearly everything. One shot at goal in 45 minutes against 10 men is shocking. A long way to go I'm afraid.
 
I think we've proved today that we're not going to be challenging for the title any time soon.One of the worst performances in recent years from a Rangers team.Now,I just want December over and done with.This mob will get nothing from any of our games playing like that.Disgraceful.

But.

The setup with Barisic and Middleton both refusing to cut inside as per Livingston away

The removal of Halliday

That they would actually tolerate Ryan Jack and willingly find other players to take off even after he avoided being sent off

Makes the bench equally culpable.

It's the old problem of too many random wage takers who have no connection or affinity with the Club.
The lack of desire, passion and urgency in the right circumstances is palpable.
Shoulder shrugging is the order of the day.
Fear of losing runs through most of them and stiffles everything we need.
 
And at the next press conference could the players that pick to sit beside the manager shut the feck up about how this team will be up for next game i.e jack for once save the platitudes and do your talking on the pitch
 
Our midfield is dreadful and it’s starting to show now.

We have nothing in there apart from guys sitting too deep who are happy to pass the ball sideways and backwards. I’m fucking sick of watching it now.

No, Gerrard didn’t misplace passes, over run the ball, not make himself available for a pass hit crap crosses into the keepers arms.
As for Ejaria, you can’t think he was the worst or second worst.

Ironic as the whole game plan is shipping the ball wide and lumping it into the box.

We need quality midfielders who don't just recycle the ball and we need them fast because this team is grim to watch.
 
We were poor today, for as bad as we were though, the slapstick goal set the tone and ultimately cost us taking three points.

What about our actual Attackers ? Constantly the same nonsense regurgitated on this forum. ‘Jack offers nothing in attacking sense’. What did Lafferty, Grezda, Middleton, Ejaria and Candeias offer ? Absolutely nothing. Our most defensive midfielder probably offered more in an ‘ attacking sense’ than any of them.
 
Shambolic frombus for the second game in a row. We got what we deserved today. Ejaria and the 2 centre backs need to have a long hard look at themselves. Simply not acceptable performances at this level.

Grezda, Lafferty, Middleton and Barisic need to learn to change their strategy to play against 10 men. For their keeper to have only one tame shot to save in that second half is an embarrassment. We made it too easy for Dundee. It’s that simple.

Nail on head mate. The team is full of players who would fit into most other SPFL teams bar the scum. Rangers always had better players than everyone else bar the scum. Signing SPFL standard players isn’t good enough. Times have changed and we can’t compete with the top level in football but we should have an ability to sign players above the standard of Dundee Hearts etc. Reality is we haven’t. I don’t see us as any better than we were under the last two managers we may well not get pumped now but we don’t win the games we need to win.
 
My take on our team we either have to give a lad from the reserve team a chance up front or try to get a quality striker in. Need a decent midfielder. Play katic at the back drop lafferty for good waste of a jersey. Playing high balls into the other teams penalty box when we don't have anyone who can jump for the ball seems pointless. Those calling for Gerrards head give it a rest.
 
You conceed the goals we do we will win nothing. We need to stop changing the defence and get a solid back line sorted. Midfield without Arfield is slow and predictable 1 up is killing us.
 
Dreadful and turgid. We seem to always go wide and try Cross it. You need to play through these teams to break them down, you can’t just lump it into the box every time.

I can only assume Kent and Rossiter were injured as we went backwards when they went off. Another 15 minutes out of Kent could have been the difference.

Absolutely disgusted tbh, but reality strikes....we don’t have a team of men or winners. They are simply better than the drivel we have had in previous years!

Gerrard is a rookie as we all knew going into this ....and the continuing changes in key areas of the team is where his Naivety is shown, any challenge we could have had this year has ripped apart by lacklustre performances. Dundee 10men, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Hibs.....teams we should have strolled past!!

Against the bottom of the table team we failed to stretch them at all in that second 45 against 10 men.....let that sink in!

Really really pissed off a performance like that doesn’t come from a title winnng team not a team in any sort of form!
 
We are so weak all over the pitch. Safe pass every time with no one willing to take a chance. Too many 5 yard passes lets teams get behind the ball in two layers so its nearly impossible to get in the box. Lafferty may as well have been sitting here with me in that second half. Absolutely raging with that. Bottlers the lot of them.

Could’ve given 20 more minutes and we’d not have scored

Wide men crossing was either straight at keeper, behind the player in the box or worse, didn’t beat the first man

Laffertys runs from the first half evaporated

Grezda as No 10 was lost

Jack will never score
Ejaria gave Dundee more chance to score than us

Worrall and Goldson were all over the place

Barisic was rusty and ineffective

Can’t grasp the criticism of Tavernier - our main attacking threat
