we dont have the composure when a game gets physical and theres little time on the ball, we have seen this many times this season
 
We look nervous, indecisive and lacking in imagination. We've seen it so many times where we're toiling and we fall in to the constant safe passing and become statues.

Such a daft and needless yellow for Morelos to pick up. Now he can't go near any of their players without them falling over and getting free kicks.

45 minutes to save the season.
 
Aberdeen have beaten us twice this season by being physical, denying us time, getting in our faces, and turning it into a niggly game with no football.
We have learned nothing from thise defeats.

Nobody brave on the ball. No width. No tempo.

Only plus is we aren't further behind.
 
Awful first half.

Handed them a penalty after dreadful communication at the back and goldsom diving in. There was just no need to do it.

That incident threw us off. Lost our composure which was partly Morelos making himself an easy target.

Jack has been absolutely sh*te (not for the first time in a big game i may add). Slow, weak in the tackle and backwards passes constantly. McCrorie on for Jack is the obvious sub.

Getting a hold of the midfield & not getting to involved in the scrappy battles is key to getting back in this game.

Idk about that but it's absolutely clear at this point Clancy will give him nothing because he simply doesn't want to. Two dives yet only Morelos was punished for it
 
Poor performance first half. If we aren’t going to use the ball effectively and are going to get drawn into a battle I’d have McCrorie on as a minimum.

We 'll bottle more games before the end of the season. I'll be very surprised if we scrape any closer to them
 
This is just a battle with no football being played. However it needs us to be calm quicker in movement and to be more precise in how we use the ball. Aberdeen would tire if we started playing football around them.
I certainly hope we bring on Defoe sooner than later.

It kind of is. It’s all very slamming goals past Hamilton, St Johnstone and 10 men Killie. It’s a different game when you’ve got to take on Aberdeen plus the ref at Pittodrie.

The buck stops with the manager.
 
This is it now Rangers, are we just another Murty or Warburton team or are we going to actually step up here and grind this win out?
 
Midfield not showing anywhere near the levels of last few games and Jack in particular has been poor. Mccorie on at half time for some bite in there would be a good shout.

Also decision to make re Morelos. Love the wer man but eveery chance he gets more and more frustrated if it stays like that and gers sent off. Maybe time for Lafferty to step up.
 
Aberdeen content to let us pussy about with the game being played in front of them.

All our inadequacies as a team have been shown up here.

And what? The players still need to turn up, and did. We scud Killie, the most in form team of 2018. Feel free to play that down though to suit whatever agenda you’re peddling.
 
Big 45 minutes coming up. Jack in particular has had a nightmare. Ref won't give Alfredo anything and is refereeing him differently to everyone else.
 
I find it incredible that a group of players can't get themselves motivated for this match.

There's a difference between poor players, good players and elite players.... And as much as ability plays a part mentality is the key component.

A fair number of our players can't step up consistently and we need to be realists and move them on.

45 minutes to save the season, the performance has been diabolical, very worrying when we produce something like that in a game of this magnitude.
 
Look at Aberdeen's home form coming into this match its been awful

Expecting a confident Rangers team to come out and grab it by the scruff of the neck

Especially on the back of them losing 2 nil at home to Hamilton FFS

Do they not realise this could be our last chance of silverware this season
 
Not a single good thing you can say about that first half, they were all abysmal

Unfortunately we have seen this a few times this season where after 10 minutes you can just tell we have not turned up

Clancy itching to send Morelos off, probably peeved that the last red was overturned.
 
Worrals positioning is causing us issues at the back. His dodgy him passing isnt helping either. He's putting our team under pressure.

I think Jack isnt playing well either.

I'd go 2 up front 2nd half.
