They are being arrogant fuckwits.

They are losing their best player.

A player valued at £5million+ for around £300k

A player they have developed since he was 18.

To a league which is generally a bit of a laughing stock down south.

Do you think they should be dancing up and down with joy?

See this “to a league” it’s not to a league. It’s Rangers Football Club ffs and they’re Charlton Athletic, they should be happy they’ve produced a player good enough to play for us

Well if they’re going to be disrespectful arseholes who think their tinpot club is bigger than Rangers we’re within our rights to point out the error of their ways and laugh at them.

I couldn't give a fck less about how Charlton fans feel. English clubs do this all the time to Scottish players meanwhile they spunk the guts of 40 million on dross from the championship. Then we can add in the general fuckwittery that they always give us with regards to 'the tinpot league', 'shite team', etc etc

Football isnt charity. We owe them nothing, as a club or a fanbase.

Should have offered him a new contract when they had the chance then.

Genuine question.

Why would it give you pleasure that charltons fans are gutted they are losing probably their best player, a young lad who has been with them since he was 18 and who they have helped develop.

Added to that they will get a pittance.

Of course its a great deal for us if we get him but i have a degree of sympathy for them, a real kick in the stanes fore them especially after being promoted to the championship.

Great deal for us. %^*& the rest.

He only played a few months mate.

We made a huge profit, but he never had any allegiance to the club.
In terms of value you can look at it in terms of finance or in terms of honours they have contributed to imo. At the moment tav can only be judged on the honours and thus far has won no major honours and until that happens or he goes for big money he can’t be classed as any where near our best value.

However back to the thread, if this is a done deal when is it likely to be announced?

If they’re getting angry that he’s leaving that means he must be good
