It's effectively more minutes in the legs. We should be winning 1 or 2 nil though

We’re playing fine. More than matched them in midfield and kept their forwards reasonably quiet. They have some better technical players than I expected.

Bit slack on the ball but if we can nick a goal in the second half and I’m sure the rustiness will ease off and we’ll go on to win comfortably.

Given our squad size - chances of departures, more incoming and outgoings etc it isn't that mental to expect a high level of intensity even this early in the season...

That and just dicking a team now and then is decent for momentum - sending message etc.

Why rusty it is mostly the same team as last year apart from 2 players.
It is quality we are lacking on the pitch not fitness.

Good test this for the league, they play like Killie, anti fitba at the back lumping in to channels hoping for a hard bounce off the pitch. Front 3 need to get closer and Jack for Aribo need more in AMF position.
