Ronseal - Aberdeen v Hamilton also off.

Only Celtic could get praised by the SFA for playing an ineligible player!!

Rod Petrie, Chair of the JRG: “The Joint Response Group has acted swiftly and decisively in addressing the latest concerns raised by the minister on behalf of Scottish Government. While the decision to postpone these games is deeply regrettable nevertheless in the circumstances it is unavoidable and uncontestable.

“The JRG members were astounded to learn of the recklessness demonstrated by Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo in his breach of government public health guidance and football protocols.
We echo the sentiments of Celtic FC in their condemnatory statement and commend the club’s swiftness in opening a disciplinary investigation.

Pish.

They shouldn't be postponing games. Award a 3-0 walkover to the opposition if a team cannot fulfil a fixture due to Covid infections amongst their players that can be traced to a non-essential activity. That will soon encourage teams to be tough with their players.

Happy with that.

Up to us to capitalise on this. Two wins please Rangers.

Gives them a fixture headache as well.

It's up to us to take advantage of this now.

As an aside the SFA child sexual exploitation inquiry also praised that mob's safeguarding of children.

Celtic need to miss fixtures for 14 days surely , not sure when start date would be though .

same as aberdeen

For me that judgement leaves Celtic advantaged by one week over how Aberdeen were managed by the same organisations .

A massive opportunity for the club to get the points on the board.

Schedule is already jam-packed enough as it is. Just increases the likelihood of dropping points if they start sandwiching in games in tough months for them.

We need to win our next games. No excuses.

I don't get why the opposing team are punished because of the stupidity of the team in question. The teams who break the rules should forfeit the game and in this case just move up the St. Mirren vs Hamilton game.

Yip surely they can organise it for 6 tomorrow and get it on sky. It will be shite but still a slot there. both trained expecting matches.

Focus on us winning that has to be the key %^*& then and their virus ridden situation we must take advantage and only then can we say we have benefited from it.

Excellent. Time for Gerrard and Tavernier to drill into our players heads non stop how big a chance this is to take a hell of a lead and also to be very very weary of how they go about their private lives over the rest of this season and that includes the players making sure WAG'S know not to be posting private life on social media.

Shouldn't it be the SFA's job to open a disciplinary investigation FFS? What actually is the point of the football authorities up here?

Rod Petrie says it all.

Ineligible player you say? I'm sure there are rules which outline the exact punishment for that. I wonder if the SPFL will interpret this as fielding an ineligible player...

Don't know why we are happy with this, they will win the games in hand and end up unpunished for putting players health in danger. The likes of accies and st johnstone are getting the same punishment as them!

Should be 0-3 awarded to opposition sides (and also their game v Killie there) mentally challenged v sheep game voided completely.
