SG: It is a big blow with Joe (Aribo) he is a player we rate highly, it is actually good news as was a situation that it could have required surgery but he doesn't and we hope he can be back in four weeks. It will be a blow however as he is a major talent.

Age starting to catch up on him now I think. Needs to get back playing as at his age the longer hes out the more itll affect his overall game I think . Lucky we brought in excellent cover in McLaughlin.

Ankle strains can be a pain in the backside to shake off, especially if its strained ligaments etc

We definitely need one, but if Aribo is expected back before November it doesn’t make a lot of sense burdening the wage bill with another body before then.
Of course if the 4-6 weeks is as nebulous as the 7 days were and there’s a chance he might not actually be back until next year . . . . .

Aribo is a crackin' player I love him, has been good since the season started, but lets not go overboard with the panic as a lot of you tend to do.
He'll be missed but we will be able to cope without him. Not like we're losing Goldson or Tav who are much more important to the team.

im not sure what your point is? this seems to happen each year, even with previous managers we had players out for a knock which turns into months.
