Rules out the following midweek for one of their games in hand

Following a club request, January's Scottish Premiership between Celtic and Hibernian has been rescheduled

The game at Celtic Park was due to be played on Saturday January 9 but will now take place two days later:

Monday January 11, 2021
Scottish Premiership
Celtic v Hibernian
Kick-off 7.45pm

Got the smell of Liewell all over this, he's obviously got a new manager in mind and wants to give him as much chance as possible to bed in before playing too many games in the knowledge that they'll have plenty of midweek spots available later on due to their European exit.

Must be a sinister corrupt reason for the move if it's the glasgow mentally challengeds wanting it moved. Crowds allowed in? Working with the snp celtic fan club maybe

Either just to delay playing their games in hand or gambling that they will beat us at Ibrox then slip up at Aberdeen and then that’s the gap closed

That'll be the absolute end date to get a new manager, if we beat them. In which case they'll want as much time as possible to bed in a new manager.

Yep, this is how I read it. Liewell should be nowhere near the game’s authorities.

Thinking about this makes a lot of sense for them

it looks like barring any more league defeats Lennon is gonna get till the old firm. If he loses he is gone . Moving this fixture then allows the new manager to get 2 weeks on the training pitch with only one game to play in that period. They might even try and get the players and new manager out of the country if they have lost to us. If they book a weekend away that blocks the midweek after Ibrox and now with playing Monday they can’t play the midweek after hibs . So 2 weeks and only one game . New manager gets 2 weeks on training pitch

Are them or hibs not just trying to give their players a break of some sort after Xmas period of games?

Hardly the biggest issue ever.

Could be to prevent them playing game in hand. I’d imagine there will be a lot coming and going there so keep the game in hand till you have a bedded in squad.

Whatever it’s for it to get them an advantage no doubt.

But the white AL -Qaeda want Liewell gone,he is their ace in the hole .

Suits me. We beat them on the 2nd then win first game back at Aberdeen and they are under huge pressure to win on a cold Monday night in January.

Only two weeks if their manager is so shite and lacking any esteem that he's accepted Peter saying "we might call you after the game against Rangers to tell you you've got the job, or we might not, depends on if Neic gets a result. Get your luggage packed in case it's the former".

To be fair that mob have never exactly been blessed with high intellectual abilities.

A horrendous combination of centuries of poverty, incest, dreadful schooling and severe inferiority complex issues take their toll you know.
