It's all sinking now

The penny is dropping.

We could come out of covid with no external debt thanks to the fact Bennett and Park have committed to funding our projected funding gap. We will probably have no external debt and potentially a bash at Champions League klondyke.

They on the other hand, their covid provision is an increased Co-op bank credit facility up to £13m. It looks like their covid impact will be exacerbated for them by the fact their season ticket holders are promising open revolt.

We're not there yet, but the reversal of fortune is staggering. And if we keep things ticking on the park it will make things so much harder for them.

The wild card possibility is Desmond dipping his hand in to his own pocket for once, but he doesn't have much form for such philanthropy.

Re Desmond, would he not have to do it via a rights issue, sure I read somewhere that - for whatever reason - he doesn’t want to become the majority shareholder.

How can they say Celtic haven't spent money, where the %^*& did ajeti, barkas and the duff blimp come from then.

Lawwell said at the AGM that they had spent £35,000,000 on fees in the last 14 months. If they can spent that much and still be miles behind Rangers next season the gap will be a chasm.

No CL income, reduced ST sales, very few players of real value to sell,Covid etc. The wage bill at the knewcamp will have to be cut by about £25-30 million in the summer.

And still, no mention of our covid insurance (they have none), our increased commercial figures for next year (Castore etc), their top players being in last 18 months of contracts minimising sell on fees, their crumbling, past its best before date, stadium, and... shhhhh compensation claims shhhhh.

Apart from all that, the American guy schooling the other muppets (typical yahoos only with posher voices) on reality (or part of it, not sure they could take all of it at one time tbf) is glorious. Not sure they are allowing it to sink into their skulls though. They seem the type that still don't hear what they don't want to believe. :))

"Maybe from the ashes, rises the phoenix".

Delightful. This from a mob who were untouchable 9 short months ago and were on their way to 15 in a row and squillions of CL money. They were going to bury us good and proper.

Now they are talking about Lazarus type happenings to gain parity again.

It's so fucking delicious.

so we’re skint then ? B-D

because they sure as %^*& are B-)
He also said the roles are almost reversed. They’ll have external debt and need to make a lot of risky decisions which could go very wrong but we don’t have external debt and have made those decisions and are now a well oiled machine. They guy on the right was in excruciating pain when the financial guy said we’re a well oiled machine.

Dermot Desmond had no desire to keep putting money into Celtic as long as they were winning the league. Why could the scum support not see that they were being strung along for years. Just keep paying your ST money lads. He could not give a fuk about yer average dim..ha ha at last they have found out but too late ya mentally challenged cunts

Abd so the merry go round continues. Its always been this way, wage bills up and down, player quality up and down and so it goes round.

They need to accept that! But I hope they don't, this is funny as fook!

While their profit before taxation was just £100,000 compared to last year's £11.3m.

They also spent significantly more money on buying new players at £20.7m, compared to just £6.2m the year before.

He’s only taken money out of the club via his annual preference share dividend. He doesn’t even bother attending their AGM

The guy in the middle is a simpleton and the guy on the RHS is a rabid mentally challenged.

The guy on the LHS is a cold calculating Investor type and is basically saying that they are skint and will have to go into overdraft soon. On the other hand we are effectively financed by our existing shareholders and do not have any external debt.

Going forward they are also f*ucked since their big 4 assets only have 18 months left on their contracts and the team are so shite they won’t get into the CL

On the other hand we can become a self financing going concern by selling one or two players and reaching the CL.

Jeez the guy on the left gets it! Its a house of cards on their side and if we get CL and a couple of big player sales we are on an even keel with a strong squad ready to dominate B-D

The American on the left came across pretty well. Seemed well informed and looked at facts and figures rather than crackpot financial theories made up by taxi drivers. Total financial reversal within 12 months, he reckons.
The only way Tim’s can recover is having smart people in place to make decisions, but given the last 12 months he’s pessimistic.
