Lol

Luke Bolton and Shankland will score a few I suspect. Utd will win on Sunday, their defence is susceptible even with Tavpen, Utd win on Sunday the points difference is 12 then 6 with the 2 games v them, they will drop 6 points in 6 games, of that I have no doubt, especially considering 2 games are away to Livi and one of Aberdeen or Hibs. We are still in with a shout here, let’s get behind the team now.
Aye and if yer Auntie had baws she’d be yer uncle ya trumpet :shh: :shh: He will have sent this from the big hoose in Carstairs:D:D:D;););)B-)B-)B-):)):)):))

Is that Adam Smith 11 over there working them into a frenzy again? :shh:

He knows the exact age and valuation of every single one of our players (he has studied transfer market trends from recent years and knows exactly what clubs are willing to pay based on their age and ability).

He knows exactly how much of a loss we are currently running at for the ongoing financial year despite us not having released a single interim figure yet (he has done the maths himself based on our previous years and the current losses of other clubs this season due to covid).

He’s definitely the type that would get more enjoyment from us losing a court case than he would from his own team winning a trophy.

I hope the creepy mentally challenged bastard is in agony in a few weeks time when his worst fears are officially realised.

He's not posted in a while. This season must have got too much for him. Hopefully he's not done himself a mischief.
He posted today, a big post about how are players are worth nothing and we have nothing going for us.

All negatives of course and an 80 million black hole in our accounts.

The guy is unstable and the fact people believe him is incredible.

There is a lot of money to be made off the delusional scum fans, feed them anything and ask for a few quid a month for the pleasure.

80 million?!:eek:o_O:))

Nothing going for us except 55, stopping them making history with 10iar and a chance of a crack at CL football next season. But yeah aside from that, nothing going for us.

It's incredible the pish they post, they just can't deal with what's happening just now, not only are we going to.win the league but they have been humiliated in the process.

None of this was ever supposed to happen to them, most of them had been stuck in the 2016 to 2018 era when we first came back up and they pumped us time after time, that's why the still call Rogic a hunslayer even though he hasn't registered a shot against a Rangers team led by Gerrard.

This delusion and arrogance has got them in this mess and they are getting everything they deserve.

Exactly mate - their arrogance brought them to levels they just can't come down from....their despair tho is our elation which is great

The delusion is strong with this one

Yet the facts don't even come close to backing this up. I know it's not trendy to not hate Lenny at the moment but he has got a vastly superior record to Gerrard. It's ridiculous to compare them. Both of Lenny's spells are light years better and that is not up for dispute.

As for their scouting, this is just another hun peddled myth that is being allowed to be passed as fact. What they have actually done is financially dope. They only bought one player in this season who was brought in as a regular starter. That is Roofe and they've got extremely lucky that he has not been injured. Gerrard and that "team" have spent fortunes on dross and his success in the market is actually really poor. They have virtually nobody in their squad that will sell for profit and a lot of the players are on wages too big for other clubs to take them hence why they need to wait until their contracts run out.

This season has been a freak and they have performed way, way above themselves but I would bet a lot of money that this will not last over a sustained period.
Wonder what he will be writing when 56 rolls in!

And our Europa league run

Whats that stat going around, they haven't won a European knock out game after Xmas since 2004? We've won 3 games and probably 2 ties now in the past couple of years.

Likely to be in the last 16 this year

But yeh, nothing going for us

It is totally bonkers. The financial realities, when that lot eventually wake up to them, are going to scare the living daylights out of them.

Let’s do a compare and contrast of some numbers.

Celtic financial year ended 30 June 2020 (from their accounts)
Turnover: £70.2m
Salary costs: £54.3m
Cash: £22.4m

Rangers financial year ended 30 June 2020 (from our accounts)
Turnover: £59m
Salary costs: £43.3m
Cash: £11m

Celtic 6 months ended 31 December 2020 (from their recently reported interim results)
Turnover: £40.7m (down 23.7% from £53.3m as compared to the 6 months ended 31 December 2019
Cash: £19.7m (as compared to £32.9m at 31 December 2019).

For the sake of a quick and dirty extrapolation, let’s assume that their turnover for the full year ended 30 June 2021 goes down the same 23.7% as it went down for the 6 months ended 31 December 2020. So their turnover of £70.2m for the year ended 30 June 2020 goes down 23.7% to £53.6m for the year ended 30 June 2021. But they qualified for the last 32 of the Europa League last year and won the league. So let’s knock off some prize money, a share of the Scotland Europa League TV pot and the gate receipts for their last 32 game and, for the sake of round numbers, call all of that £3.6m. That would all result in full year turnover of around £50m.

For us, we don’t yet have 31 December 2020 numbers. But let’s assume our annual turnover would be down by the same 23.7% as theirs (and my gut feel is that it won't be down by that much - they are more reliant on gate receipts than we are and our Europa League run this year has been even better than last year, but let's assume it is down 23.7% like theirs). So £59m becomes £45.3m. But we also have an additional £5m or so of turnover from Castore this year. It looks like we also will have a last 16 Europa League tie as we did last year (but this year will get the whole of the post group stages Scotland tv pot, which last year was shared with Celtic). Also a bit more prize money etc for winning the league. It doesn’t take much extrapolation to think that our full year turnover might be of the order of £55m (now 55 is an interesting number to dial out at and entirely coincidental!). But even if it is £50m then we are on parity as regards turnover and with a lower wage bill.

So our turnover might well end up greater than theirs, our wage bill is presumably lower, they wasted a fortune on Barkas and others in the summer, we win the league and have a shot at the golden ticket of Champions League football, we have a coaching staff and recruitment team which is clearly better than theirs, we don't need a complete squad rebuild but they do, we have plenty of marketable and valuable assets (Morelos, Kent, Aribo, Kamara and Barisic to name a few; they too have some in the likes of Edouard, Christie and Ajer), we have supportive shareholders who have ploughed significant equity into the business and we have a youth system which looks more promising than it has in the last 10 years. But we are the ones in bother here and administration is just round the corner?!:)) Honestly, the longer they delude themselves the better.

Now I am not saying that everything in the Rangers financial garden is rosy - there is no question that Covid will have hit us hard this year and I suspect we will have to cut our cloth a bit next year. But I absolutely know which club's position - financial and otherwise - I would rather be in now and going forward and it certainly isn't theirs.

Watching that Liverpool team lose to Everton, our biggest concern might just be that Klopp goes and Gerrard ends up at Liverpool sooner than expected!

Some Adam Smith rantings :p

All their defensive players are touching 30 at the next window

Katic 24
Goldson 28
Helander 27
Simpson 24
Tav 29
Borna 28
Bassey 21

Average age 25.87

They have to sell Kent who ( will be about to turn 25 at the close of next window ) for £7m just to break even.

Kent will turn 25 this year like that's some kind ancient age for a footballer and his value will drop massively because of it.

Morelos ( just about to turn 25 ) the 9th top scorer in the SPL over the last year whose couple of month purple patch Europe 18 months ago is becoming a bit of a distant memory.

Morelos 22 goals in Europe
French diddy 15 goals in Europe

Clubs around Europe will pay far more attention to Morelos and his group stage goals then French diddy hitting a penalty against Hamilton.

As with property being about location, location, location. Selling football players at a profit is about age, age, age.

Na Adam you muppet I think it's primarily about ability first and foremost.

Barkas is 26 and McGregor is 39 but only Stevie Wonder or Celtic would rank Barkas as more valuable.

Their starting 11 on average is around 5-6 years older than ours

How gutted I'm am that we don't have any young superstars like Ajeti, Klimala, Barkas, Hazard, Shevd, Boli, Guttman, Perez, Bayo and Hendry draining about £150,000 a week from us.

Equally inarguable is the £70-£80m cost a year to do this is tough without trading players profitably. It is nigh on impossible to do while adding negative capital outflows in player trading

Damn I guess we'll just have to find £25 million some other way, can't think of any? Oh wait.....

Is that clown trying to suggest that if we sold all our squad to tomorrow we’d make a loss from what we paid for them?

Apparently we have an ageing squad and won't make a profit on any of our players. Conveniently none of them mention the fact we knocked back £16m for Morelos and £10m for Kent in the summer.

This is another of their many coping mechanisms and further highlights their inner turmoil. It's almost up there with any result we have managed to achieve in three years of European football is either down to the other team being shite or having an injury crisis.

I read last night that the poets haven’t won a knockout tie in 17 years. Given Rodgers was in the middle of this time then his tenure there would have to be deemed a failure?
They had free run after free run at the CL which is the only competition they should’ve been judged on given the circumstances. With the money he was pocketing, anybody looking at it objectively, without the daily fawning of the Scottish media, would have to conclude he was a failure. They hate him for doing a moonlit flit but any normal fans would’ve hated him for being an abject failure.

a club with nearly 10 years free run at trophies and prize money and they have 3 loan players that are regular first teamers .

It’s slowly dawning on the hordes that a string of empty domestic baubles blinded them to their abject performances in Europe and the loss of their 10 means their previous successes have a hollow ring to them

You're right. Just like we did in the 90s, they wasted their free run in Europe.

How will we ever make any profit on our players.

I mean, who would pay 50k for Kamara.
Or more than, what was it, 1 or 2 mil for Alfie?

Now I think about it, Walter was a huge success compared to what Brenda done but failed compared to our ambitions as a club. The fact Brenda is lauded says everything about their ambitions as a club. They have no ambition except to be a bit better than us. The situations sum up everything about the 2 clubs.

That summary with the pic at the end is good.
