If the language was that bad it would've been a straight red so Beaton has got too emotional for me due to his cheating being exposed.

Don't know what the second yellow was for. Seemed to me that Gerrard had walked away and was just talking to himself at that stage. He was miles away by the time the second yellow came out.

Anyway, Beaton should be ashamed of himself for the chain of events that led to that situation. But I don't think he'll care.

Don't know about it being a rule, but the Gaffer has stated that Beaton told him we'll speak inside. The Gaffer's issue was they were going into different stands so how could they speak inside?

Beaton is far too sensitive to be a referee, plus he's also quite shit at it in general which doesn't help him.
There's a complete lack of maturity on his part and any confrontation he is faced with he takes the easy/cowards way out by using his powers to send off people.

Footballs a passionate game and they don't come more passionate than Gerrard. There is so much at stake and tensions are obviously high. Referees need to understand this and not be the topic of discussion after a game, it should be the football.
