Jackson - High ranking Rangers official had a go at Brown

Whoever that man is give him a pay rise. It was all fun and games when they were wearing polis helmets, sunglasses and putting scarfs on goalposts. Now they can't take it back.

In fact, it’s deeply regrettable that his final Old Firm match the other weekend ended with a crude and classless farewell from a high ranking Rangers official inside the Ibrox tunnel in the immediate aftermath of a 4-1 thrashing.

Record Sport understands the Parkhead hierarchy are aware of this incident which took place as a disconsolate Brown made his way back to the away dressing room while Steven Gerrard and his players celebrated a fourth derby win of a whitewash season against their crestfallen neighbours.

That they have chosen not to lodge a complaint suggests that it was all fairly low key, perhaps no more than petty stuff even if the conduct of the senior Ibrox employee - who provocatively goaded Brown as he made his way inside - was regarded as ‘wholly inappropriate behaviour’ by those who witnessed it.

There’s a golden rule where this kind of thing is concerned. It’s one thing for players and coaching staff to let their passions run high in the heat of the battle and to allow the moment to get the better of their sensibilities but it’s quite another for the men in suits to lower themselves into the guttural bating of the opposition.

Celtic might have chosen not to make a big deal of it but Rangers as a club should be better than that nonetheless - especially given that Brown went out of his way to offer his support to Glen Kamara before the previous league encounter between the sides at Celtic Park
keef go and HANG YOUR SHIRT FOR HIM AT SHARKHEID!

Imagine going from being Scotland's football journalist of the year to willingly writing a puff piece on how someone was horrible to big brave Scotty. Oh my, how the mighty have fallen. And I mean the pair of them. It's just not fair that Captain Leader Legend got a taste of his own medicine after dishing it out for years without retribution. Why won't anyone do something ? Please, it's bad enough they bastards stopped the ten but this is just not on! Do something, somebody!

Give it a week and this will be gospel. Dermot Desmond will be pullling out all the stops to land a world class manager because he was so furious at what he witnessed even though, you know, he wasn't there and it didn't happen. Like the last time they made this sort of shit up in 2016.

When you act like a tosser for years don’t be suprised if people have a go at you when the tables turn.

respect is earned and he hasn’t earned it. Players like Larsson while a thorn against us acted with respect and I don’t know any rangers fan who would be antagonistic towards him but brown, Griffiths etc deserved everything they get

Good - that is the send off he earned from us. Hopefully pigeon heid got similar.

Two classless clowns getting a dose of their own medicine.

One of the big reasons we are now champions is the team and management have zero fear and zero respect for Celtic and despise them as much as we do.

It's wonderful to read that this attitude goes higher in our club.

Brown, and many others on and off the pitch at Parkhead, has goaded and mocked us for years. Their club has employees who refuse to even say our name. If we have bitten back, then it's not before time.

As for Jackson, he is an embarrassment to his profession and an enemy of Rangers.

After rubbing our noses in it for years whilst winning trophy after trophy it appears that they can't take it when the shoe is on the other foot and hopefully they all enjoy the weekend watching us lift the league trophy the trophy they wanted more than any other.

Absolutely laughable, to round off this dung he suggests that Brown should get a pass for acting like a human one time in his history by approaching Glen Kamara is tragic.

Brown, who less than two months ago, refused to even say Alfredo Morelos' name, refused to call us constantly by our name, who has cut about pretending to zombie walk in front of the Rangers support and we're meant to be ashamed someone said something to him ? And because he once shook hands with Glen Kamara ? A pity he didn't offer Shay Logan the same support when he insinuated he was a liar about racist abuse and his pal Tonev was telling the truth, eh Keith ?

Does Jackson have any idea how much of a snivelling lickspittle he's coming across as ? He's Jed Maxwell to Brown's Alan Partridge.

Glorious.

There is a golden rule. Players can do what they want and it is ok. Other staff ? It's a no go.

Fantastic mental gymnastics to cover the fact that Brown's behavior has been a disgrace for years. If he had had an ounce a class or dignity there would have been plenty of people treating Brown with respect behind the scenes at Ibrox. Karma my son.
Belter from him. Yep, its directors that are the role models and plastered over kids bedrooms. Was only last night my boy sat at his desk & said he’s playing Stewart Robertson!

The club that hosted mock lynchings of Rangers supporters?

The club that tacitly support displays attacking Remembrance Day?

The club that panders to support for Irish terrorism?

The club that refuses to take responsibility for decades of organised child abuse?

And they’re getting all prissy over something that may or may not have been said?

Jackson is a snivelling cuck.

I must have missed the articles when he was openly laughing in the faces of Rangers players on the field of play , Holt in particular got this treatment from him on a couple of occasions

Brown and Celtic were made for each other

Oh and Keith what about all the examples of this type of behaviour from the previous Celtic manager
( the one that caused a referees strike )

Has the cat got your tongue?
Not exactly, Steve.
Celtic did make Brown.
He wasn’t the classless scumbag prick he became after he left Hibs.

Can't stand that apologist c*nt Jackson.
Get it up them after the behaviour of they rats in the past. No wonder they didn't have the brass neck to bring it up publicly and got their wee lapdog to do it for them.

Odd that he didn't make as much of an issue as Leigh Griffith's spitting on the rangers crest in the tunnel a couple of years ago before an old firm game.

the mudding of the waters starts on trophy presentation week.whatever next those big bad Rangers fans bet not try celebrating too much or hide the dugs from fireworks as sales soar

Oh the irony of it all! suck it up scum especially cap in hand to the filth Jackson who could’ve exposed them years ago in the biggest scandal in Scottish history but chose to side with the harbourers of degenerates.

Brown treated our players and club with utter contempt throughout his time with that mob. He was classless personified. Our players have shown him how to win with a bit of class. If someone has had a bit of a pop then he can suck it up like we had to.

Also, this seems a bit like the made up parable of the Hampden board celebrations. They couldn’t take it so created some nonsensical story which drove them to the blessed Brendan. Just shut up and take your medicine like men, you’re back where you belong, in our shadow. Stick that on your pizza coupon, Keith.

What goes around comes around. Poor wee Broony is the perfect example of the guy who loves dishing it out but can't take it back. No sympathy here

Completely meaningless article. The aim is to wind people up.
This is Glasgow if you can’t take the rough with the smooth get out to somewhere like Aberdeen.

golden rule is if Celtic do it it is fine. That’s what corn beef heed means

This really has been the ultimate season of football karma both on and off the pitch get it right up him and well done whoever “goaded” him

This made up story is up there with Rangers fans kicking over sandcastles, Gollum’s made up lies of Rangers fans being arrested for sectarian singing at Easter Road in 2015 or some daft bint making up a story that Rangers fans were stopping the police getting into Hampden for the Scottish Cup final in 2016.
Keith Jackson really has sold his soul to the devil.
